ST PETERSBURG, Feb 2 (Reuters) - Andrei Arshavin's proposed move to Arsenal has fallen through, the player's Russian club Zenit St Petersburg said on Monday.
The 27-year-old Russia playmaker was in London on Monday hoping to sign a contract but the deal collapsed at the last moment when the clubs could not reach agreement before the 1700 GMT transfer window deadline.

Yes, Yes and yes, this guys is what I always new but never released, Arshavin visited Tottenham on several occasions since last September, we also had the guy at the Lane on the last deadline day but Zenit fucked us up in the last minute, thats how close we did come to it happening, we had been in contact with Zenit all through the winter and at one point the deal was still going to happen, until Arsenal came in a few weeks ago and turned the greedy bastards little fat head.
