Dont understand the Arsenal snub TBH... Dein came out and said if Wenger wanted to spend 20 mill on a single player then he could

Just think. Without the transfer window deadlines, we wouldn't have all this excitement!

And stress... :-|

Perhaps Arshavin woke up this morning to find Wenger standing over the bed perving at him while he slept?

Haha, someone on Arsenalmania is hoaxing that Arshavin has joined Spurs. Using Sky Sports website, brilliant.

Our biggest earners are on around 50k. Arsenal have players on significantly more. Obviously they have a wage structure in place so players don't tend to join on silly wages but I still can't see us being able to offer Arshavin good enough personal terms if Arsenal have failed to do so.

Woodgate is on £60k. Fazza reckons we agreed something like £65k with Arshavin. The difference is we wont ask him to contribute somewhere between £3-6m of his transfer fee!

Dein isn't involved in Arsenal any more. Do you mean Hill-Wood or has Dein been commenting independently?

Of all today's possible deals, THIS is the deal I want really badly. I remember in the summer reading a piece of ITK that said "Arshavin 100% done". Like a fool I jumped around for joy! Then the window petered out and my eyes were opened that ITK is not always ITK.

So as much as I want to read "Arshavin signs for Spurs" for real, I don't see it happening. I thought he'd be an Arse player even during the Euro. Champs - but really, really want us to nick him...

Sad to quote myself, but I wanted to add that what I REALLY want is for us to sign a defensive player that knows how to defend set-pieces, another midfielder that knows how to tackle, a left-sided midfielder who can kick with his left foot (some time this century please), and THEN Arshavin.

Oh, and off-topic sorry, but can somebody at WHL teach Bentley how to defend at a post - use your whole useless body to keep that ball out as if your life depends on it...don't go at it with your right foot when the ball's to your left...jeez!
