What was the comment "WHUFC' loss" all about?

Most likely alluding to the fact he used to play in their academy. How many years he spent there though I don't know. Thing is Moncur did an interview recently where he stated that while he was at our academy Pritchard and Kane were in the same year group so we know Pritchard started with us anyway. Moncur left when Kane was 12 so it's anyone's guess how long it was before Pritchard left. He then returned when he was 15/16, so I reckon he has most likely has a whole spent more time in our academy/development than theirs.

Pritchard was just getting praise on Gilette Soccer Special. Said he is a great loan signing and could probably play for Spurs now let alone the in Premier League

Came back from 2-0 down in the last 9 minutes to draw 2-2. According to the BBC Pritchard created the first goal, don't know if he got the assist though. Brentford fall down to seventh.

Got an assist for the first goal and second goal came from his corner. He really came to life in last 20-30 mins as everything Brentford were doing in attacking third seemed to go through him. He even closed down players and won the ball few times as well. Should have recalled him in January.

Anyone else a little bit worried at the level of expectation for Alex? Don't get me wrong he is doing well by all accounts for Brentford but to come to us and do similar is quite a step up.

Have you seen our attacking mid/winger performances since February?
Who is to say he would've been starting as much as he has for Brentford. And who is to say he would've been playing as well as he has without that game time. His development will do a lot better staying there for entire season where he is settled than coming back for half a season with a possibility of limited game time and not as good as performances.

It's like the Townsend to QPR situation couple seasons back when either Lennon or Bale was injured and people were complaining we should've kept him.

True, we cannot be certain, but we could very much have done with his creativity, quick feet, energy, and vision. The strengths he provides just so happen to line up perfectly with many of the weaknesses of our current AM corps, and I think we've struggled not only from those weaknesses but a lack of depth. I think Poch greatly underestimated just how much depth was needed for such a stretch, and I think Pritch could have been a very valuable component to the squad.

For instance, how useful would he have been in that West Ham game after the draining Arse and Liverpool matches? Sure, throwing him in at Anfield might have been a stretch, but surely we could have used his fresh legs and quick feet when trying to circumvent the brutal press West Ham frustrated us with. We looked tired, drained, frustrated, and slow in that match, and I think having Pritch then to replace Dembele after he was taken off at the half would have been very helpful. Perfect situation for a debut: the situation is bleak, just get out there and do what you do and help us try to salvage the situation.

Really like the first game. Took it very quickly. Would love for someone to make a proper compilation of him

that compilation would be 30 minutes long I reckon with how much he pops up on the ball in their highlight videos.

Mason has made the step up from League one to our first team, so why not Pritchard? IMO, he is more suited to the PL than the Championship and I think he is more suited to the AM3, than anyone we have currently playing there.

I think it's more that people are expecting him to walk in and be an immediate success. We might be putting too much pressure on him. And some fans can be quick to turn.
