*at least one. Its unlikely, but one or both could go out in the last 16.
You knew what I meant. Only one can make the final, so we may only miss one for the whole tournament if either side make it to the semis.

Nigeria have started well and Amokachi sounds a lot like my Dad

Great ending to that shootout!

Chaos continues.

His form dropped heavy last time he failed at afcon, played badly for at least a month.

I know it's Pepe and everything but how the fuck did the ref think that was a dive and not a pen...

Edit - oh to be fair he booked one of the other Ivory Coast players so he didn't think it was a dive. I thought he'd booked Pepe. Still such an obvious penalty though.

Pape Sarr has really come into the game this second half breaking up attacks and getting himself all around the pitch.

Even as hosts I did not think Cote d'Ivoire had it in them to match Senegal given how bad their group stage was.

As always, winning experience makes him a better player for us long term.
Much more important than coming home 2 games earlier.

As a Spurs fan and a Morocco fan, I'd very gladly see Ivory Coast win this one.

Edit:
Added benefit of having Jackson back at Chelsea.
Edit 2: I've just checked Jackson's goal record across his career and it's really bad. He's not scored more than 28 goals in his entire career. How on earth did Chelsea sign him for so much
