I know Poch is a convincing man but can he convince a player to bin his mum?

Anyone else find it cute that Rabiot has his mother as his agent?

Think it's an intelligent move actually. Most agents only care about the money they'll be making. Family is probably your best shot of having an "agent" who is actually out for your best interests.

Assuming things don't work out for us and him I do really wonder where he will end up. Surely it will get to a point were no decent club will have the desire to deal with them. I would love to get him but there is a part of me that would be really curious to see how this plays out if nobody goes for him.

somebody will get him. he's got bags of potential and wont cost much at all. at 23 he's got sell on value even if he doesnt work out.

I'm surprised we are going through this if she's a known knobhead, Poch doesn't seem the type to pander to it.
Eyebrows were raised when Aurier was signed due to his prior attitude/off-field problems as well but he was still brought in. Poch puts a lot of emphasis on character but not everyone is a model professional like Kane, Winks, Sonny etc. And when there comes an opportunity to get someone in who's very clearly got the talent side of things covered you have to back yourself as a coach to get them onside and moving in the right direction. Especially if you haven't got too many other options.

I don’t want to forensically examine that photo but...Aurier intentionally placed the heart emoji over PSG’s badge. Make of that what you want.

His mother it an absolute knobhead, so there will be nothing simple about getting the player contract side of things done it will be very difficult imo. We will have to wait and see.

She's a knob in what way, awkward in terms of getting a deal done or arrogant thinking her son is the second coming of christ and he would be above us?

Well she wants to rein it the feck in. We've already got Jesus at the club.

This is that part of the transfer window where everyone gets hyped up over something that is pretty likely not linked to a transfer. It gradually quietens down tomorrow into Monday. Then Tuesday night it gets wild again before it slowly quietens into Wednesday, we get distracted talking about the Watford game and we don’t sign anyone on Thursday.

Because rabiot donated today and this is praying hands and a heart.

I think only desperation sees it any differently imo
Serge has no fewer than three current teammates who have spoken out publicly about supporting the continuing search efforts and has made no discernible mention of any of them, nor of Sala himself, but that post was definitely about Sala and anyone who thinks otherwise is delusional. Sure.

In other words it will never happen.
But should be a fun meeting between Levy and Mrs Rabiot.

Yeah, but if it's just about money then we'd have been out the equation long ago. I can see it dragging until deadline day where he waits for a club who could give him the perfect combo of a huge pay packet and playing time before he chooses us.

Fair enough I guess he's not coming then, cheers guys, that'll teach me to take any notice of the guys that are in the know who are saying we are serious about this and that he is talking keenly to us. I will just accept that we won't buy him and say goodnight.

If this is the case I see us getting him 100%. Judging by ITK and media reports, his mother has seemingly pissed off every semi-large sized club in world football except for us
