Hard to imagine all the possible permutations. I totally forgot about Aston Villa in the conference league too - they have to play Ajax. It would be funny if they finished 5th and missed CL because they went out of the conference league.

We probably need 4-5 english teams to get through this round

Bayern look toothless but given their injuries it’s to be expected. Sane clearly isn’t fit and I doubt Gnabry on the bench isn’t either.

It’s funny when you look at Liverpool with Klopp leaving and a huge injury crisis yet they’re still top of the league and have won a cup with the kids. Whereas with Bayern, Tuchel is also leaving, they’ve injuries predominantly in wide areas but they look a shadow of their former self.

Italy and Germany are #1 and 2 right now. Spain shouldn't be much threat because they'll only have 2-3 teams left in europe after this round.

Villa will murder Ajax… granted they’ve had an upturn in results but they’re terrible compared to Ajax of a few years ago. Villa have to reach at least the semi’s to gain points for the English teams 5th place Champions League hopes.

I have zero confidence in non-big-6 english teams in europe. They always seem to crash and burn even against shit opponents.
