Hamrun Spartans versus Maccabi Haifa is like the 300 but without the surprise ending.

It’s a good job Larne (NI) are playing away - it would be a bit smoky in Larne that evening with one of the biggest pallet bonfires being lit. 12th July

Faroese football is not an area I know well but this has to be the biggest result a club side from there has ever managed? Ferencvaros were in the CL group stage in 20/21.

Klaksvik continue to perform miracles, they've knocked out Hacken from Sweden tonight and are guaranteed at least a place in the Conference League group stage. First ever group stage for a Faroese club.

They play Molde from Norway next round. Klaksvik's coach and assistant are Molde legends as players so that'll be fun.

Klaksvik have somehow held Molde to 2-2 on aggregate, heading into extra time now.

Odd fact:-

I remember Martin Chivers leaving Spurs in 1976 to go to Servette.

Aubameyang scores twice for Marseille against Panathinaikos, then the clown Guendouzi concedes a 94th minute penalty and they're going to extra time.

Then the same clown, Guendouzi, misses from the spot and Panathinaikos are through on penalties, 5-3. His was the only miss in the shootout.
Michael Oliver was the referee who gave the Guendouzi penalty after an on field review on 94 minutes. He also disallowed a Marseille goal 5 minutes from the end of extra time, again after an on field review. Good man, and brave. The place was a cauldron.
Pau Lopez was playing in goal for Marseille, but he was subbed for the shootout. The sub wasn't able to save any penalties.
A good day all around.

Playoff round is as follows, with the winner of AEK Athens vs Dinamo Zagreb to play Antwerp. That second leg isn't being played before this weekend.

I've never even heard of the Polish team here.
