Soldado £5m
Chiriches £7m
Lamela £12m
Capoue £7m
Chadli £10m
Paulinho £9m

£50m in total.

I'd sell all of them plus Adebayor, Kaboul and Lennon (another £15m).

Trimmed squad plus £65m to spend.

Bring in three £15m players of quality who Poch actually wants (my preference would be 2 wingers with genuine pace and goal threat, and a holding midfield player who can actually pass the ball!).

Then buy three £5m, 30+ yr old players with lots of experience (definitely a CB and a ST to compete with Kane, and possibly a full back if Walker continues this awful form)
We need to stop buying players that cost 10 or 15 million and good but not brilliant wages. That's our problem. We need to spend 40m or more on a player of absolute quality and/or attract a player through higher wages otherwise we keep missing out on players like Welbeck, Song etc.

Welbeck is shit and song is brutally inconsistent.

I thank our lucky stars that we have someone at the club who vetoed those deals.

Remind me how much did Eriksen cost? And how much did Lamela and Soldado cost? And who is our highest earner? But perhaps Eric and Robbie did not cost enough and Ade is not on high enough wages.

So, how are Ozil and Di Maria getting on? And do you think Falcao is earning his corn?

Spunking money guarantees nothing; decent scouting and a coach who knows what he needs is what gets you good signings.

I think people would be surprised at how much we'd get for Chadli as well to be honest. I'd imagine it would be £12m-£15m.
Possibly - he is an established international in a good Belgium team and does have a physical presence and eye for goal

I wouldn't sell him personally as I think he's a decent squad player though I think we need better in the first team (at least in our current set up as he lacks pace and provides us no width when in the lwf position )

No need to reply to this. Read what @eddiebailey and @Doctor Dinkey said!

He is pretty much Dempsey MKII: chips in the occasional goal but contributes very little else.

In the last two years we pretty much failed to upgrade a single outfield position.

Would you keep him in and around the squad for the goal threat he may offer from the bench or sell and try to upgrade on him?

I was thinking with Pritchard coming through the ranks we might not want to buy a player in that position and as such Chadli might make a decent impact/rotation option (with Pritchard either starting on the LWF or the no.10 position with Eriken slotting in on the left)

Though I would like us to have a natural left footer there with some pace to give us width and add to our creative options personally (though Poch's system seems to want inverted wingers cutting inside with FB's overlapping to provide that width)

Soldado £8m
Paulinho £7m
Chadli £13m (Would be reluctant to sell)
Capoue £7m
Chiriches £7m

Higher prices because I wouldn't really want to sell these two:
Lamela £25m
Eriksen £45m

I would certainly not want to sell Eriksen and I think what we can command for Lamela would not make it worth our while selling so I'd keep and hope with another season he can make the break through and start to justify him signing - he's still young, seems hard working (attitude isn't the problem) so I harbour faint hope that he may still come good

I think I pretty much agree with your valuations and indeed I'd probably want to keep Chadli as a squad options because he's one of the few genuine goal threats we actually have

The other four I think we need to cut our losses asap and I think your evaluations are probably more realistic than Levy's

Can't sell everyone all at once, and there are others I want to see off the books more.

The inverted wingers obsession does my head in; so easy to defend against. If we were to revert to 4-4-1-1 with Lennon and Townsend wide and Eriksen in the hole behind Kane we would be chewing up and spitting out teams like Burnley.

Eriksen's a tricky one, enough potential for a higher price but not quite consistent enough yet.
He was dictating games for Ajax, we still haven't nailed down his best role.

He also went missing a lot. His inability to dictate games consistently is why no one else bought him. But he's young and we took a chance so hopefully he'll mature

Excluding Eriksen?

Soldado £8m
Paulinho £10m
Capoue £7m
Lamela £15m
Chiriches £6m
Chadli £10m

Out of the players we bought I think only Eriksen and Chadli are worth more than what we bought them for (£11.5m and £7m respectively). Chadli has had a rough patch since his father died but he had a good first half this season, and his goal contributions have certainly helped. He's done more than the rest of the players we bought that window (bar Eriksen), IMO, and I wouldn't look to get rid of him.

It's hard to say what Eriksen's real worth is right now (as much as you can price players these days!). It seems to change from game to game for me as he's not found any consistency yet. Definitely wouldn't sell though.

I'm on the fence as to whether I'd sell Lamela as I do think he's just about young enough to get away with it, and can still improve. I don't think he'll go, but I do think it'll be the last chance saloon for him and if he doesn't do well by Jan then we may have to call time on him.

Honestly not sure how to price Soldado. He's be 30 by the end of the season but that isn't that old for a number 9 and I reckon a few clubs in Spain will remember him for how he was in Spain and still be willing to give us at least £8m for him, maybe a little more. Paulinho I reckon we can get a good deal as he's still got a decent profile and clubs like Inter have been sniffing around, and they'd pay that kind of money for him.

If we can sell Soldado, Paulinho, Capoue and Chiriches for over £25m then I'd be pretty content with that.
