Players can definitely have the ability, physicality and mentality at eighteen years of age. There’s been plenty examples over the years.
It’s still important to manage them properly though, since we’ve all seen plenty of highly rated youngsters burn out prematurely or fail to live up to their potential for various reasons.

Reminds me of Greavies' runs from back when he came to WHL.
Hope he gets to those levels of prime Jimmy, sure looks capable of doing so!
Hope we play in all white kit more often too.

I’m fully onboard this kid being the best player that’s ever lived but I honestly reckon I would’ve done a better job defending there and I’m shit at football

It’s at the point now where if he’s not like prime Eriksen, Modric and Dembele all rolled into one I’ll be disappointed.

Clearly he can play football, carries an attacking threat and is very young. I believe we can give him the platform to grow around players on a similar level to him. I guess we can hope but no one really knows where his ceiling will be. Fingers crossed for the lad.

Djurgarden chairman was on a Swedish podcast and discussed at length the Bergvall transfer and his impression during their recent London trip.
They were there over the Spurs - Palace game, training ground on Friday and game on Saturday. He was impressed that it really felt like a family club, for a club of that size. They were eating lunch with Levy & Lange in the same dining area as the players and coaches.
He was told over 3000 Korean fans goes to games, stadium tour, training ground, every matchday weekend. They saw hundreds waiting outside the training ground and had never seen anything like it.
Lucas recent form a lot to do with everything being settled with the transfer. Described as lifting a weight of his shoulders.
He said he thinks Lucas would have been at Spurs already had his birthday been 2 days earlier (waited in order to be able to sign a long term contract). Also said it might be for the best to start with a full pre-season.
The medical teams are already in communication about Lucas, benefits Spurs in terms of helping setting a fitness profile for a young player and Djurgarden can get information on how a big European club thinks.
Lange key in negotiation as he already had a working relationship with Djurgarden chairman due to previous Nordic transfers. That personal relationship also meant that the media found out about the concrete interest "surprisingly late".

Hehe, that was unfortunately not disclosed.
One thing I forgot to mention though was that they let Bergvall decide between Barca and Spurs as the financials was similar.
However, he was happy he chose Spurs as the entire football industry are aware of Barcelona's financial issues and that a club of Djurgarden's size would be put at the bottom of the debt priority list.

Ali gold also done a nice little article about how we helped his older brother who picked up an injury, Djurgarden weren’t satisfied with the injury reports from Sweden so we helped after they had asked to give a second opinion on his injury.

Lucas creates a golden chance in the 120th minute but Djurgarden can't capitalise.
