Madness that considering what I put them on the line for with Dragusin, I then lost them guessing Maddison would start against City 🤣🤦🏼‍♂️. Probably feels like they've been on the line a lot more than they actually have, thus far they've been on the line twice with a 100% record on transfers so maybe I should go back in 🤷🏼‍♂️. As I've said recently, I've had very little recently and have zero updates re transfers. I just have a weird feeling this lad may end up with us, and that is literally based on nothing other than my personal opinion.
From now on when anyone asks how confident you are of a transfer going through, it can be done on the H88 Ballsometer: Blue (Frustrated and unlikely), Dropping (There’s interest), Shaved (Going Smoothly), Balls it Up (We effed up), Frozen (We have no interest), Cajones (The player is South American), Swedish (duh), Meatballs (Fabio’s on the case), Zipped Up Tight (Not a chance) and finally… Balls Deep (It‘s a goer!).

Yes… I put way too much thought into that. For which I apologize profusely.

Aside from our interest put that to one side, I do question the player's club accepting a piss poor offer of €7 million for him. I think it's a piss take.

Their record transfer out is 5m and their record transfer in is 1.6m. For a 17 year old I'm not surprised they're accepting 7m

Meanwhile, Tottenham are still waiting on Swedish wonderkid Lucas Bergvall to decide between them and Barcelona but a deal does not necessarily have to be agreed before today's 11pm deadline.
Spurs have agreed a deal with

Djurgardens, worth around £8.5million, that would see the 17-year-old midfielder move in the summer, so there is no pressure for Bergvall to make a decision today.

Bergvall visited Spurs' training ground on Monday but was in Barcelona last night, with both clubs pushing hard to sign the teenager.

That's the first time i've read that we've actually agreed a deal with Djurgardens but that was never the stumbling block here.

It was only a matter of time before it happened, but it appears Dejan Kulusevski has joined the fight to convince Lucas Bergvall to choose Tottenham over Barcelona.

It’s Fotboll Direkt who bring the news on Thursday, who explain that the Sweden international was ‘very much present’ when the young Djurgården midfielder met with Spurs officials last week.

The former Juventus man ‘simply acted as an ambassador’ for Tottenham’s directors, who were trying to get a deal for the 17-year-old over the line.

Whether Kulusevski being there actually helped is still unclear, as the website explain that the situation is ‘almost a 50-50’ between the two sides.

Bergvall, who traveled to Barcelona after meeting with Tottenham, has since returned home and ‘will have a few days’ to think about what he does next, which is what Expressen were reporting on Wednesday.

Despite claims that Spurs arrived at the last minute to try and sign the midfielder, the Swedish website state that everyone involved ‘effectively managed for several weeks to obscure’ the Premier League club’s attempts of signing Bergvall.

Either way, the youngster will remain at his club until the summer, since he cannot sign a five-year contract with anyone until he turns 18, which so happens to be the day after deadline day, February 2nd.

From the Swedish side - looks like we have been working on this for a long while but only out in the open this week.

I wonder if that was the secret news that @What Lies Beneath couldn't say just yet?

Imagine being 17 years old and having to choose between Barcelona or Tottenham. World's your oyster, young man.

When I was 17 I was choosing between Barcelona and Tottenham on FIFA.

He visited the training ground etc? So not just a cheeky last minute punt from us then.

Who knows. Barca still have BDE but then so does Bayern compared to us.

Hopefully Xavi gives him a call and tells him to steer clear of that basketcase of a club!
