He has a real knack for turning clean possession into untidy possession, then scrapping for it and finding a pass to a Spurs shirt. I just wish he could do the last bit without having to go through the first bit...
I think he's looked a lot better in hold up play recently. Still room to improve though.

Have to say he has been impressive since his return to the team. 6 games, 5 goals, 2 more disallowed for offside, great work rate and he is looking way more confident infront of goal.

Keep it up Richy!

Yeah he's been great since the Newcastle game.

Love to see him score at United.....at a big away ground... give him even more confidence

He’s probably actually a bit underrated by our fans, other fans and by the media but it’s tricky as he’s following Harry Kane so the bar was set so so so high.

If still like us next summer to sign another top striker to add to the mix but Richy is certainly improving and playing fairly well since coming back after his surgery.

He’s a huge problem in this side. Never seen a striker lack composure like him. Fluffs absolutely everything that comes his way. This side creates lots of chances (not tonight, mind) but it takes him at least 5 to score. Not good enough. Not even close.

Honestly, I’d sell if we can get good money.

Have 3/4 major red flags with him for the level we want to be at.

1) he never ever ever ever in a million years is able to create his own chances through taking a man on our an exquisite touch or movement

2) he always needs luck to score it’s never a clean connection or like a really assured finish when he has time to think

3) he lacks that X factor pace people say Kane is slow but honestly he’s a greyhound compared to Richarlison he’s always untidy and can’t seem to control a ball to run

4) all of the above just makes me think he is never a 20 plus a season striker for a top 6 club he tries and seems to be a great bloke but I just don’t understand what he brings really as a starting striker unfortunately maybe he needs a partner or something.

I like him as a person and he's not without merit as a player.

Bit of a square peg for us though IMO.

I can deal with that if he's a cold-blooded finisher but he isn't.

Just a matter of time until we sell him. He's obviously not good enough and never will be. But unfortunately we cant yet due to our dearth of options. Tonight was absolutely horrific from him.

Didn't have the best game but not concerned by that. He'll come good vs Manchester and we'll be back to praising him.

You must have missed him scoring 5 goals in the PL in December.

The majority of the team was below par today.

5 goals in the last 6 games and he has one crap match and people are calling for him to be sold. This place is wild.

Madness isn’t it.

Also genuinely curious, say we get offered 60million for him tomorrow, who are the people selling him buying to replace him?

They need to hit the ground running as Richys got 5 in his last 6 so I’m assuming people are selling him for someone who’s clearly better?
