Wanyama and Sissoko could be beastly. Pleased so far

Only downside is results like this will justify playing 532 again.

I'll never understand this logic. A formation that's wielding a result shouldn't be used again...

It's been done to death but 5 at the back isn't necessarily more defensive than 4. In fact I'd argue it's more like a 3 at the back today with Foyth and Verts splitting so wide in possession.

Should be going for 4 or 5+ here as the extra gd could be worth a point at the end of the season.

I’d love to see this, however I’ve got the feeling we are going to stroll through the second half saving ourselves for Wednesday. Huddersfield aren’t interested, can see us just spending 45 mins saving energy and stroking the call about in front of them.

The opening bits of the game were very low key. Two power runs in quick succession from our central midfielders have suddenly made a huge difference, and now we have the luxury of playing in second gear with the games ahead in mind.

Think I'd probably get Eriksen off fairly soon, not really happening for him so far and I don't see the point in flogging him until the end.

Sissoko is an absolute beast.

I'm hoping loads of people get bored and aren't staying after the match so I can have a proper look around

If you are a Huddersfield fan. You’ve already seen your team relegated. I would be thinking why the fuck are we trying NOT to Los?. Go out and play some attacking football put 4 in attack. At least try to get some goals. We are going down anyway? Baffles me???

My only quibble - Eriksen seems a tad off - still playing well, but not quite at the level I would expect against Huddersfield
Either Eriksen doesn’t want to leave and he’s putting off any suitors by be ineffective constantly (because he desperately wants a new contract at Spurs) or he’s already off in the summer and is softening the blow and we couldn’t give a crap.

At this stage of the season, its not about the performance, its about finding a way to win. So cant complain. Happy days.

Loved Wanyama's goal by the way. Proper old-fashioned driving run forward from midfield to pick up the loose ball, and finished it in wonderfully nonchalant fashion.

Means little in the grand scheme, but that challenge easily could've been a red in my opinion. Careless and stupid challenge. Looks like he drove his knee directly into the thigh.

I understand being frustrated, but come on.

(On another note, its nice to be up early enough to watch the match from the jump. Sissoko and Lucas both look fantastic).

We’ve got +3 gd on Arsenal, but they’ve yet to play. We should really be trying to up this

Its easily been Wanyama's best game in over a year - maybe all the time off really was necessary to get fully healed.
