I've only just seen the arsenal score! ?????????

Me too. Driven almost 900 miles today (894.2) and got back home about 45 minutes ago. Totally forgot about the game, came on here & suddenly don't feel knackered anymore.

Beautiful news to walk into. What a week for Spurs supporters. Oh how I look forward to seeing my Gooner colleague at work in the morning :woot:

Apologies I don’t follow the progress of every midtable team in each second rate European league.

They’re not an obscure team, regardless of how you paint it. You just made it sound like you don’t know much about football, which I’m sure isn’t the case.

I just don't follow Thursday afternoon football.
.
There was some Arsenal supporting div on Twitter the other night trolling about the fact that B.Dort only
lost 3-0 to us in the first leg because they were chasing an away goal and the away goal needed to be scrapped.
.
I bet the away goal is a bit more precious tonight.

Haven't seen Rennes play this season but they look quite exciting going forward. Fast and smart, good delivery. That 3rd goal especially.

The Arsenal defence was rubbish. How anyone thinks Mustafi is a PL footballer is beyond me.

It wasn't that bad...

Whilst this is amusing I’m not sure taking the piss out of your opponent with a second leg to play is a great idea...

https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...-europa-league-last-16-first-leg-match-report

...Asked whether the result gave him particular pleasure because it was against Emery, he replied: “No, my motivation was to play a solid match, to win and get ourselves into a good position to go through. That’s what was in my head. But I did see the same Emery, as agitated as ever. I looked over at him a few times and that made me laugh a little. He hasn’t changed.

Just putting it out there as there's a possibility Thursdays will be Spurs days next season...

Even if we lost Toby Hair Gel and The Great Dane (and assuming we do actually buy someone) with the European experience now and comparative talent in the team, does anyone feel like we can go all the way in Europa?
