He will be good but in this league with the intensity it's going to be difficult to chase down the record. Especially with his record of ankle injuries.

If he stays in England he could easily get 300 and ensure that record will never be beaten for generations

Why do people mention this loan fantasy?
It’s ludicrous to think Kane, his agents, and Real Madrid would all bend over backwards to cater to such a fantasy. Whoever signs him will want him to be 100% committed. If they are going to lose him in 12 months they’d be as well go sign Osimhen, Vlahovic, or whoever. Or push the boat out and get Mbappe.

No one is going to sign Kane and then give him back after he’s won a couple of trophies. People need to grow up.

Cant see Kane leaving the premiership when he’s so close to shearers record. Once it’s broken I can see him going abroad.

He can do that with us. If he wants big trophies like titles and CL’s then there is zero guarantee with United. Playing for Real, winning a CL is huge, also Shearer’s record is just the rebrand of the division 1 to PL, it’s miles off the real number one, you got Greaves with 357 goals.

What major team in Europe would take him when he is 32?

Lewandowski moved to Barcelona at 34.

Ronaldo moved to Juventus at 33, and Manchester United at 36.

Messi moved to PSG at 33.

Zlatan moved to PSG at 31, Manchester United at 36, AC Milan at 38…

Loan stuff is so funny.

What better way of saying “we don’t believe we can compete” to everyone at the club than sending our star player away so he can win a trophy elsewhere

It's really small time 😂.

If stays. Great. If he goes, so be it. We have to prepare for life after kane.

Perhaps real would want the Brazilian number 9 🤔

He’s going at some stage, and I still think it would be crazy to sell this summer as his 30 goals won’t be replaced. Having said that, a move to Madrid is the genuine best result regarding which club he does leave for. Won’t have to put up with watching him smash it in our league each week, and also means he’ll probably never score against us. That would be very painful to take.

If he left I don't think Sonny will ever be the same!

Current Son might benefit from having a faster partner up top,
he's not the same player he used to be neither. Did a lot of Kane's running, unsure whether he'll be that extreme runner coming years.
Ageing Son, slow Kane, slow Kulusevski, no flying wing backs - that was our main issue (clown defense aside) this season imo. Stale and slow.

If you’re Madrid, why would you pay a fortune for him now when you can pick him up on a pre contract without a fee in 6 months time?

Because Madrid is huge, why wait for a season with a lesser player when you can bring Kane in now and improve your chances of winning the CL. They want glory and Kane is the best and they demand the best.

I guess they also then get ahead of other teams thinking about getting him next summer.

I one million percent don’t want to lose him to anyone but going to Madrid is the most palatable result because realistically he’s not extending with us in the next 12 months with a new contract.
