If Levy steps aside from the football side of things and appoints a DOF (Rangnick) with JN then Id be happy to leave it at that for now and look forward to next season with at least some hope.
I kind of agree. But I thought we had that with Paratici and Conte. There were still lots of stories about Levy meddling.

Totally agree but with Munn coming in I'd be hoping this time it's different.
He will never fully step away as it's his baby.

Plus anyone new can't rip up our wage budget which is a factor in why we won't compete with the very best.

This is incredibly naive. The ‘loan’ was just a not so subtle way of getting around FFP-type scrutiny.
How many repayments did the club make on these ‘loans’?

There was never any intention that, as long as he owned the club, the ‘loan’ would be paid back.
The loan got paid back when the Club was sold. So effectviely got paid twice for his theft of Russian peoples money. Once as he was allowed to Sportwash his presence in UK. And once when he was forced to sell.

Win win for the oiligarch. What a wonderful world we live in.

Anyone who:
  • Wants to achieve on-field success with the club for whatever reason
  • Is willing and able to pour cash into the club's coffers towards that end
  • Is smart enough to appoint a team of crack professionals in key positions and let them get on with the job
Altruism is non-existent in the world of Premier League owners, so I'm not looking for any. At the moment our club's sole reason for being is to make filthy rich Joe Lewis even filthier richer. I don't have the illusion that a new owner would buy us to relieve our plight or out of the goodness of his heart. So as long as money flows in and trophies come out, I'll be happy with whoever sits in the Directors' box.

Okay so I know your criteria now and I broadly agree with it - except to note that it describes every Oil Slave owner and Abramovich.

But, like I asked @Drink!Drink! can you put a name to these potential new owners. Do any of them exist in the spending chart you posted? Or are we back to what I identified earlier when you posted about Joe Lewis and Argentina: that you want an Oil slave state to buy us. There's nothing wrong with having that view. I don't share it but that's okay. But just be honest and transparent about it so we know what the debate is.

You're trolling and I suspect for a number of posters it's getting boring now. Especially with this persistent suggestion that anything you don't like boils down to wanting dodgy oil owners or whatnot. That's almost certainly a bit of a pop to get under their skins.

Nobody has to put a name to anyone, that's just ridiculous.......i'm pretty sure nobody would have heard of half the new owners of football clubs before they dipped their toe in. It's a bullshit deflecting device and an impossible requirement to fill. IF a new owner puts his hand up, that's when people will decide what's what as to their suitability.

I am absolutely not trolling and I find it staggering that asking the question "Who takes over" in a thread when a section of Spurs fans are asking us as a community to take direct action to remove our current owners is somehow considered "trolling".

I'm asking to be convinced by argument. Part of that, for me and others, absolutely depends on who we think might take the club over. No one wants to answer. Maybe you're right and it doesn't matter to the majority? If so fine. For the sake of the peace I'll move on.

He should stop going to games if he's really stepping aside from football. As long as he's in the stands it still gives the impression he's involved. It's not helping the atmosphere seeing him in the stands.

Come on mate, he’s part owner and a genuine fan ffs. You might not rate the guy but he has every right to attend matches.

if it’s not helping the atmosphere maybe fans shouid take responsibility for their actions rather than turn it toxic to the detriment of the team.

As Trix put it, I’m happy with the amount of money being put into the club recently. We’re spending more and bringing in bigger purchases, which is good.

I’m not happy with the way it’s being spent. Spending 60 million on a backup forward is all well and good but it came at the expense of us signing a solid LCB and RWB, which has hurt the team in the process. The recruitment strategy is nonexistent and a lot of the purchases we have made seem scattergun and lack any type of thought. On the whole I’m OK with ENIC, but With the ITK and media explaining Levy’s involvement, he needs to step away.

There were both. You only have to read our itks from last summer and January to see that.
I read your post as implying that Paratici and Conte were undermined by Levy’s reported interference. My take is that their effectiveness was undermined by their lack of ability in their respective roles. I’m not interested in the statistical distribution of posts.

Levy at City Airport with Munn and the flights that are leaving there. Doesn't really narrow it down as we have been linked with managers in most of those countries.

My post was primarily about Levy. A post stayed if Levy stepped back and let the football run the football side of things he’d be happy.

I pointed out that there were many stories suggesting Levy still was meddling.

How good a job Conte and Paratici did was not relevant to the post.

I'm just fed up seeing him to be honest. He's hardly a fan either.
I think I'm just more annoyed that they keep showing him every time we're playing. I'm just bored seeing him with his serious look all the time
