I bet he's heaving a huge sigh of relief right now. If the start today had turned into a tonking he'd have had to go into hiding.
As good as the performance was considering we give Liverpool a 3 goal start, Levy should walk. The Liverpool winner summed up everything about the Club under his ownership. The mentality at the Club will never change as long as he is at the wheel.

Any chances the loser of the United bid just gets us as a consolation prize??

I heard from someone involved in football the culture at our club is awful. We underpay our staff at all levels, a lot of our youth coaches are interns that are replaced after a year if not up scratch by new interns and our bonuses do not push for a winning culture.

I think what we are seeing now is a club that needs control taken of it and shaken to the core. We have lost what we are and that's the main criticism of the chairman. As owner he can spend what he wants and employs who he wants but a business without culture is a failing one

Is there a connection to the colours?

Having an owner who'd put money into the club rather than trying to get rich out of its ownership would already make a big difference.

Who?

Like seriously - can you give an example of one such owner?

Even Abramovich (who was buying influence not wealth) put his money into Chelsea as a LOAN.

Genuinely interested who you think this altrusitic owner might be?

Fans won’t have an influence on us being sold but we could have influence on Levy stepping down.

I don’t think people have the stamina for it personally.

We have enough evidence. 21 years is more than enough time to know who Levy is, it’s not going to change.

yet somehow I get the impression that if we had won today the BSODL massive would have been back on here

I am pessimistic. I think we are doomed because so many in our fan base have such low expectations. There’s no pressure to be successful. Not from the fans. Not the players and clearly not from the owners.

cue the warnings of be careful what you wish for…which will make me think we do need to discuss Joe Lewis and Argentina a bit more on here. we already have ethically and morally dubious owners. Let’s stop being blind to that fact

If you want Spurs to be owned by an Oil Slave Sportwashing nation just say so dude. Don't be coy.

Whatever the facts of Joe Lewis' dealings in Argentina it's patently obvious he's not using Spurs as Sportwashing enterprise or he'd be chucking in Oil slave funds -- in which case you'd probably love him? No?

I just wish people would be honest about WHO they want to take us over. Makes it a more transparent discussion.

yes Of course, that’s right. The ONLY alternative to ENIC is an “oil slave fund”. How silly of me. And wow you got me bang to rights. that would be my dream fantasy. was it that obvious

and yes, if we can find someone, anyone, out there in the whole wide world more morally compromised than Joe Lewis, then we don’t need to worry about that any more, phew…that’s a relief..thanks!

and thanks for making my point for me. To cheerlead for ENIC you have to set the bar very, very low

No it's not. Why don't you tell us who your alternative is?

But if you're going to make a spurious link to Joe Lewis' dealings in Argentina and mention that our owners are ethically and morally dubious it's not really a surprise that people such as myself assume you're softening the debate up for a little Oil slave action. Which is fine.

But you seem to be backpeddling. So now I'm confused.

So please please stop with the word salad and tell us who you want to take over SPurs?

at least that way I can make an informed decision whether I agree or not

I've gone quiet on the subject after being so vocal recently because I think this is happening currently anyway from what I'm hearing. Well stepping out of the way rather than stepping down.

I've never called for Enic out only Levy, because I have no issue with what we are spending only how we are spending it.

See @McArchibald post just above. Gently suggest reading around and being more informed about the ownership of THFC. Will aid better quality contributions

and absolutely no. You don't have to search linkedin and head hunt for a successor before being allowed to judge Levy as not being up to the job. Come on now. That’s just silly

How about you just answer the question.

Who do YOU want to take Spurs over?

Then I can decide if I agree with you or not.

I'm genuinely interested and somewhat baffled by your inability to give a straight answer to a straightforward question.

(Is it one of the owners of the club's in McArchibald's graph? If so just say so!)

Was thinking the same, that’s twice now things have got very close to the fans being apoplectic, end of Jan window had we not got Porro and as you say if after Newcastle we ended up getting another tonking today then palace as our next less serious home game would’ve been off the charts 📊 anger towards Levy, he’s got away with it again but I feel like the tipping point has finally been reached and it’ll be very very hard for him to turn this around now and so stepping aside and communicating that is his best next play now.

I just want Levy to keep his snout out of football matters. Delegate to somebody who knows what they're doing and keep out of the way. I don't care if ENIC still own us since they've stumped up a lot of cash recently.

With no DOF and Munn yet to start I take it steinsson and scoulding are heading us up then.
