Dier needs to be completely out the squad. He’s personally culpable for the majority of the recent goals we’ve conceded
Agree.

I know conte won't do it but I'd like to see lenglet and romeo paired in a back 4... that way, we get the extra man in midfield AND the three up top

Worrying thing for me is Richarlison and Kulusevski surely can’t go the full 90. So, we have to get back into this and ahead, quick.

Just 45 mins to go until we all get a break. I think it is needed from the booing nowadays.

No he is trying to put the blame on the whole defence when dier is the one giving them the two goals. Leeds at 1-1 Leeds does not look like scoring. Until of course everyone played offside except Dier.
but because Dier is awful, they look threatening every time they challenge us.

it was a joke.

Dier continues to have a nightmare few weeks. First goal both he and Emerson to see the danger of Summerville too late and then he is far too weak in at least putting him off his shot. Lloris doesn’t cover himself in glory either.
Second goal, well taken, Dier, especially, and the whole defense have got to push up quicker to play the Leeds players offside. Poor defensive mentality.

I'm not a fan of booking. But people pay their money and blah blah blah.

But what I think is unacceptable is hurling that kind of personal abuse at your own player when we're defending a corner. If you want to blame anyone for conceding the goal blame the "supporter" with the big mouth behind the goal yelling " you're shit, you're fucking shit"

I thought I heard "that's why you play for Leeds" in there. I assumed he was screaming at a Leeds player.

We are looking at a third home defeat in a row after something like 8 wins on the bounce. The fans have to take some responsibility for that if they are booing at half time every time the side are behind.

we can talk about poor defending and rubbish play but our team is trying to win, which is more than what can be said for some entitled fans.
Ridiculous. If you think no trophies in 15 years is entitled.......

Atleast our one good center half will be back in action at the WC and probably injured again when he comes back

Not arsed about the booing. Might liven the place up.

I am the same. Not that I'd boo myself but couldn't give a shit about the fact that it's occurring, much more pressing matters within the actual side really.

If anything I'm glad the shortcomings in defence are being highlighted so if there wasn't before, there's more urgency to address it. Elements like Dier's form last season may have seen us not be as desperate to address that position in the summer but there were always question marks as to whether he'd actually really changed as a player or not. Just a shame their form couldn't have been a bit better to see us through to January at least.

Royal booed every touch but Dier is doing him no favours. Clearly has no trust in him and is telling him where to stand whole time but then Dier comes out wide and leaves Royal to deal with everything. Dier is not the defensive marshall he thinks he is.

It's quite ironic really where people talk about us being a defensive side yet completely shit at it.

Overall the football we tend to play would be okay if we were keeping clean sheets. Peak Atletico was an art form in its way, we’re rubbish defensively and this season overall been poor in attack too unless chasing games.

I’m quite glad Dier is getting exposed time and time again because a lot of our fans and Levy were starting to believe he is good enough.

So what? We’re all angry and we haven’t paid for the luxury of standing in the cold with a much lighter wallet. They can do what they want. It’s deserved.
Maybe, but it’s totally counterproductive!

Fans moan about negativity on the pitch, yet boo from the stands!

I can’t abide it.

Given our forwards don’t press it’s really easy for the opposition to get through our forward line. Then it becomes 4 or 5 vs PEH and Bentancur. Unsurprisingly we don’t win that battle so the opposition have free rein at our poor defence.

I just don’t think this formation works unless your forward players press well. And ours dont

Then those at the club need to fall on their sword for allowing such weak willed players to continue hanging around our club for so long.
But this is also a symptom of keep changing managers. A new man in will always want to see the players himself to see if he can get more out of them. By the time they realise and want rid it's too late and they are gone instead.

Who was he shouting at? I thought he was shouting at the corner taker?
