Terrible tonight. I've seen nothing from this team all season, apart from maybe the first match, that's suggests we're going to do anything at all this year I'm afraid.

Don’t agree with this at all, they have just battered the europa league winners (albeit a weakened champion) and they have some technically gifted players who are able to play through us. But still no excuse, we should be beating them if we even played to 75% of our levels.

Sorry but that’s at best a non sequitur and at worst a bullshit excuse. This is a better squad than we finished last season with and it’s playing far worse. We don’t need 2 or 3 more windows to compete with Sporting

No way we should have lost that, disgraceful. We had begun to settle for a point, happy to let the game fizzle out and became lethargic. You cannot do that and switch off at this level.

When Kane and to a lesser extent Son, aren't performing then it really does make us quite sterile going forward.

Still, thought for 89 mins we were fairly comfortable so to lose it will infuriate Conte but he also must shoulder some of the blame here by not trusting his squad more.

This is not the kind of football that will win at the highest level consistently. It just isn't. You cannot be this passive, to be fair we pressed a bit more tonight, and expect anything.

We lack creativity and are way too predictable.

We had enough opportunities to get something but ultimately players made shite decisions and played well below a required standard.
