SIGNINGS
I have said this a few times, but worth a repeat! We have money! Still will bring in circa 4 more; which is not dependent on ‘outs!’. Add another (5) if Kane is lined up to go. Told that club extremely happy with the new signings, and the expected arrivals, which may go into the last week. We have the advantage over the selling clubs. Barca been throwing a lot of players at us, which we have no interest in. Paratici being quiet with no major media leaks is a good thing. COYS

From what I've just heard FP and Hitchen have been keen to sell from the off. It's Levy and only Levy that has taken the stance we have and he's still not moving until his terms are met.
Fab feels there will never be a better opportunity to spend the cash this free's up. Sell him for next year for £100mil(for example) and we will get a fraction of the value we will get this Summer. We are all already completely aware of how switched on he is regarding clubs financial positions and players contracts especially in Italy, and he feels the timing on all this is perfect.
Despite all this being spelled out to him, Levy is still the ultimate stubborn toddler refusing to move unless he gets his own way. Like I said its principles that are at stake here, and he won't be bent over.

again levy not listening to the people who matter most, as long as we're not butt fucked, and we can improve the squad - he'd be mad not to sell this window, there is value in all the other leagues right now, lets pillage them whilst we can or miss out next season and onlt get maybe 1/2 replacements, wjere we can maybe get 5/6 this.
I agree to a point. What I would say is that perhaps things might have happened a bit quicker had it not been a strategy to just slam the phone down every time they called. Maybe if Fab had have been given a minimum number and actually talked to them. As I've said before I totally understand Levy's stance, just not sure the tactics are entirely the right ones. I mean if you have zero intention of selling then fine, but if you do have a number in mind then being slightly amicable is probably worth while.TBF I'm not sure Levy taking a hard stance on Kane is particularly worthy of criticism. If we sell him for anything less than market value then he's going to be the one getting pelters from the fanbase, not Paratici or Hitchen.
At the start of the summer before he went on strike we were all taking the same stance with Kane and were desperate to see him stay so I see this as a bit of a win-win tbh. We're not going to get mugged off because Levy is Levy, but if we manage to get the full asking price then it's a good summer to take advantage, and hopefully Paratici and Hitchen are good men to do it.
? Citeh back again…FFS…
Fed up of all this. Only way we know is our way and terms!

And the thing is with City if Kane fails to hit massive numbers this year for any reason, he could well be competing with one of them for places next season.Thing is with Kane also is that next summer players like Haaland and even Mbappe will become available. I think now is the time
Hojbjerg isn't a DM. He showed that last season and in the Euros. He is really a box to box player and very effective at pressing high up the pitch. I see that being the role given by Nuno as we move from the low to mid block and press higher up. The deeper role will be left for Skipp and Winks so can only see us get a new DM in if Winks is sold.Anyone think it's a bit odd that we're suddenly being linked to so many CM/DMs?
I would've thought that between Hojbjerg and Skipp we had DM covered, while we have Dele, Lo Celso, Ndombele and Winks scrapping for the other 2 CM spots (along with one of Skipp/Hojbjerg too).
Unless Nuno doesn't trust Skipp or we're planning to flog Ndombele, it seems like we're actually OK in that area and would be better off spending money elsewhere. It's not like the names we're being linked to are groundbreaking talents, either.
