To be honest and I know this won't be popular... But I don't blame Levy. He did what he thought was best for Spurs in trying to make sure we stuck with the elite instead of being cast aside as a secondary club. He's not here to win any popularity contests, he wants to make Spurs a top club and financially strong. Yes, it failed and it was ill conceived.

I'd prefer that than a chairman who's hesitant about being on the cutting edge of the industry.

"english investment fund"? I wonder if that could possibly be a slight mistranslation to French. Imagine it started off as, say, "English National Investment Company". Ring any bells?

"An investment fund based in England," is my guess.

This makes no sense whatsoever. The owners, senior execs and boards are the clubs for these purposes. How exactly do they propose to sanction individuals personally?!

Directors of companies can be sued personally for their willful negligence or dishonesty. Most companies buy directors and officers insurance to cover this type of claim.

He said "a majority" and then doubled down in another post. That's not "vibe", it's a quantifiable assertion.

If you challenge something then the onus is on you to disprove it, he doesn't owe you anything.

Alternatively, you could just have a chamomile.

And it did feel like the past couple of days were largely pro spurs being involved; perhaps it was just different people posting

No. You do it. I’m satisfied with what I’ve said. A number of people agree. If you don’t thing that’s true then either go check yourself or keep your peace. Don’t get angry :)
I think going back, and this isn't a go. It wasn't the majority view, and I'm not doing this to talk about semantics, but Spurs community as whole opinions are often shared by a handful of posters who create some echo chamber that can lead to the perception that this presents a fair reflection of fans feelings, something I've contributed to on occasion. But the reality is the feelings represented often don't represent the general feeling of fans, and for what its worth most Spurs fans I know outside of this forum often hold opinions not in touch with SC sentiment.

Also, I’ve bookmarked the “Levy is a ****” video/post. How do I now get to bookmarks?
I can’t seem to be able to navigate towards them. Where do I find them??

More potentially explosive news (WARNING: Mundo Deportivo, not 100% reliable, but plausible-ish and thoroughly amusing).

Most will know that Real and Juve in particular have wanted a Super League for a very long time, because without it they feared total English domination of Europe given the Premier League's far superior financial clout.

The pandemic is what pushed Spurs, Arsenal, Liverpool and United to sign up - with the big revenue hits and the fact they won't all consistently make the UCL, they suddenly needed a boost even if it helped the European teams more than them.

City and Chelsea didn't have this worry given their backing, but felt they couldn't be left behind.

But supposedly, the collapse tonight is because UEFA recognised this weak spot, and has bought off the English clubs - offering them financial stability though the crisis while protecting their long-term advantage, in order to save their own bacon.

And in yet another twist, they are not yet offering the same bribe to the Spanish and Italian teams, trusting that without the English their threat isn't credible. So all Perez and Agneli have done is further solidify England's power.

Levy been playing 8D chess all along.
