It's time for Mourinho to show that the team can dominate the game from minute 0 to 90 ... They have to play the best, score a goal and keep looking for another ... There is material, just change the mentality. Ndombele, Lo Celso, Dele or Bale tomorrow please.

We must win. Its time to unleash the Bale from start.

F... depressing watching liverpool put 7 past palace.

Actually, it isn't. Just think that they could have done the same to us but, because Mourinho is such a master tactician, we limited them to just a luckily deflected goal and a last minute goal from a corner kick.

This actually should reasure us that we will be there at the crunch time, with a shot for the title.

It’s not what people want to hear but honestly I don’t think we’re even close to Liverpool, but that’s nothing to be ashamed of.
Klopp’s had about 5 years and 10 transfer windows to get them playing as well as they are.

I actually think its the other way around. We too could have given Palace a whopping if Jose had allowed us to play more expansive. They were there for the taking.

We have to win these games or whats the point. Weve had a taste of topping the PL and it felt good. Lets really want to give it a go so lets grow some gonads and make em swing.

Absolute must win at any cost
In context, it's a must-not-lose. We can collect points against weaker teams to come. This is the last match of a demanding sequence of six fixtures where we have already banked two wins, two draws and a loss. If we can come out of that with a positive record, we can move on from there.

I see it as potentially season defining. Even more so now, after the Palace game. If we had won that, I feel like the Pool result was borderline irrelevant. So now, we bookend this six game maelstrom with the Foxes and for me, it is paramount for the squad’s confidence that we win. It also sends a signal to other teams. We gave Liverpool a game, that very easily could have flipped the other way. We beat Vardy and Co. I think it cements us as a force with staying power... and that does have a psychological impact on other teams. We lose, and that is 1 point out of 9. Blood in the water. We look vulnerable and ready for a full on wobble. We need teams to fear us. Losing this game will undue a lot of good work that we achieved so far. It also impacts the Stoke game too. We win on Sunday, I believe Tues will be a stroll. We lose, this looks like a banana skin.

Amazing, as we know how fragile confidence and form can be at this level.

Hence, I feel, much like the Palace game, this is season defining match that we have to win. Otherwise I’ve seen this Spurs film before and know there’s a very good chance we slide after a loss and it has a negative cascading impact on the rest of our season. Sorry to be a doom merchant, but as I said, I’ve seen this happen to not only us, but others too over the years.

Remember the season the Foxes won the league? With about nine or ten games to go we played that home and beat on their door for 88 mins. Horrible missed chances. World Class saves and last ditch blocks and some stupid decision making led to us not being able to score. They have one corner. One header. They win.

I truly believe, we beat them that day, and their wheels would have come off. Whether that means we would have gone on to win the league, who knows? But they were balancing on the fence at that juncture. We take the wind outta their sails, I don’t think it comes back quite the same way again. Such is the nature of football. Just ask Liverpool fans and Newcastle fans about their infamous season meltdowns.

Confidence is everything. Win this, and our fans know, our boys know, other fans know, other teams know, pundits will finally accept... whether they like it or not, we are a force to be reckoned with.

Think we can bully Leicester a bit, not the biggest team, especially with that other CB out.

I reckon 3-1. Kane brace and Sonny.

If we believe we can challenge for the PL, we must win this.
If we believe we are a top four finish we must not lose.
Lose is not on the table.

We need to win today because someone has to challenge City for the title.

I agree. Palace looked shaky under pressure and comfy on the attack. We looked increasingly fragmented under pressure but composed when attacking. So obviously we should have kept the pressure on.

Have you heard about Liverpool?

I suspect this will be us sitting back so they dont get in behind us and we then counter etc.... which is the best tactic against them to be honest but would like us to score more than one before we sit back and hoof it for 45 mins.... perhaps after 2 or 3 0...

Thatll be great - thanks.

? Why? You don't need to dominate the whole game, just be in control of it. The players will all drop fitness in March if we insist on pointless possession and non stop domination. Jose knows what he is doing, not just this week but looking months down the line
