I do believe I said that lol His wastefulness on the ball negates it though in my opinion. He gave the ball away as many times today as he won it back and slowed down attacking play massively

Yeah well I'd rather take him now because he's providing balance to the team, on the ball he's crap we know that but off the ball he is vital.

Jose seems happy with him until Lo Celso picks up defensively, I've come to peace with him playing regardless.

In my mind if we play with guys like Sissoko in the team we will never progress to the level we want to be. Lo Celso doesn’t need to pick up defensively either, he’s more than competent in that area and provides balance by actually having the ability to keep the bloody ball and build attacks!

Right I am going to get some stick for saying this... but I am sick to death of Sissoko starting for us when Lo Celso is available. He has absolutely no vision or ability to play forward passes and literally ruins 99% of attacks or build up play when the ball goes through him, therefore absolutely negating any positive effect he has defensively. And he does have a big part to play defensively, he works his socks off. We start with Lo Celso and I’m convinced we would have had a far better chance to win today. Lo Celso is superb on the ball, good in the final third and at the very least decent in defence. Why we aren’t starting him over Sissoko is making my head explode every game he is available
Agree, sometimes he is just our weakest link on the ball and his touch in such a compressed space I just don't trust.

We're literally top of the table, what level are you expecting us to go to?

not as much fear as we played with. But JM will be delighted with this game the mention of being unhappy is a joke. Still another point even though we lost ground to other teams who won. We are two defeats away from mid-table and draws don’t win titles. But top four is our goal no matter what pundits go on about.

I don't think so to be honest, not in a game at Stamford Bridge where it's no bad thing to be cautious. We've played 'without fear' many times at Stamford Bridge and left with nothing. Plus, draws in such games can win titles, but I'm personally not drawn into the title talk as of now.

Come on man you are a good poster but you are seriously fan boy level sometimes. Do you expect us to win the league with Sissoko starting all season? If you do then you are in for a serious disappointment

We're top of the table with Sissoko featuring prominently, I'd say that's a pretty good indication at the moment of the level that we are currently on and aspiring to. Or you can argue with the manager who knows how to win titles who is seemingly happy with Sissoko in the team, he must be doing something right don't you think?

If you can't see what he's providing to the team at the moment then I seriously cannot help you.

Cheers for the compliment btw but I don't get this fan boy stuff?

I was happy with the draw until that Lo Celso shit at the end.

Now I just have that sour taste in my mouth and prob gonna be thinking about this chance missed the whole week.
Weird, I’ll be thinking about the fact we’re top of the league the whole week.

Comparing Sissoko to Lo Celso is pointless, they’re expected to do completely different jobs for the team, Sissoko is a defensive player, he’s not expected to do the things we’d want from Lo Celso, and vice versa.

ESPN are a complete waste of time, they hate Jose as it is and have never taken us seriously so they hate us even more now.

One thing I'm looking forward to is if we win then I want to see the reaction of all these pundits who talk us down.
Watched it on Supersport, tha kfully they had Glenn Hoddle on

You will see nothing but empty seats. Or just a mass of men crying their eyes out. Tantrum to end all tantrums,

Yet he was probably our best player over the 90 minutes along with Hoji

You're equating Sissoko starting vs City at home and Chelsea away as him starting all season

I get Sissoko Isn’t the best footballer in the world but two of our coaches have seen something in him to start him and we’ve got to the CL final and now top of the league with him featuring regularly. He may not be great with the ball but his off the ball work is decent and maybe he’s really good at playing to a plan?
