I’m still confused as to what the Scots love so much about the Nations League tbh. I try to shut it out, but pretty I’m sure I would have heard about it if they had won it.

Scotland came third in their Euro 2020 qualifying group so would have missed out on going to the tournament again. Luckily they won their Nations League group which put them in the play offs for the Euros. They qualified the other day.

Great free kick effort from Bale. Miles out but lovely strike.
BBC

Gareth Bale smashes a freekick from basically Narnia and it dips just over the crossbar.

That was easily 35-yards out and Darren Randolph wasn't sure of it.

Rodon looks solid. Bale trying to do the Harry Kane role of dropping deep and looking up, but he doesn't have the quality around him to reap the benefits.

How the fuck did that Welsh fella not get sent off for that kick?

Seems it’s hard to miss out than to qualify!

Norway announced that they forfeited their match against Romania because of one player contracted COVID. They are now flying in players from all around Europe to play against Austria whilst the original team is sent home. A bizarre situation. Every player has to be tested and state a negative result no less than 72 hrs old. Austria is from what I understand, almost under lock down. I don’t think football is that important and especially not Nations League that a team has to go forward and play these games in this pandemic.

Mental situation. What makes it almost even weirder is that the 22 other squad players are allowed to fly abroad individually to their homes but not as a group to Romania and then Austria. But yeah that means if the game in Austria goes ahead (which UEFA says it will, think of that what you wish) it's a real ragtag Mighty Ducks/Remember the Titans underdog bunch that will be playing for Norway. And if this ragtag manages a two goal win Norway win the group which would be a really funny story.

Some of the emergency players have confirmed their involvement in pretty funny ways.
