I don't think Son will start. Probably come off the bench.
Why? He's been suspended not injured. He's fit.

I know it's unpopular opinion, but I really don't wanna see Winks start this one.
It's no coincidence that we've improved in both our games so far, when he's been subbed off. It might as well be a case of his teammates not using him correctly, but IMO he's been underwhelming so far, only passing short sideways or backwards. I don't think he makes us tick, and would like to se a CM2 of Ndombele and Sissoko against Newcastle. Lo Celso to come in, if Poch insists on a midfield 3.
Milner is vastly superior on the ball but that aside sissoko certainly could play there.Davies should get a game, it's a long season and we need to save Danny's legs for the big games.
I think Sissoko could play right back, Liverpool converted Milner into a full-back. He has similar attributes to Sissoko.
The good news is Sonny is back & Dele should not be far behind.
Here's my team for next Sunday- (4-3-3)
Lloris
KWP Toby Jan Rose
Sissoko Winks N'Dombele
Moura Kane Sonny
subs: Gazza Davinson Davies Skipp Dele Lamela Dier
COYS!!!!
People actually wanna drop Lamela?
Play the same team as against Man City.
interesting starting 11 AND FINALLY a strong bench!Lloris
Walker-Peters Sanchez Vertonghen Davies
Dier Ndombele
Lucas Lamela Son
Kane
Gazzaniga Alderweireld Rose Winks Sissoko Eriksen Lo Celso
Just an idea please don't slate me but once we get up to speed could we get away with playing Ndombele and Lo Celso in a double pivot especially against the poorer teams ? what can Winks do that either of the 2 can't plus we obviously would have the added benefit of them both being able to take the ball forward ?
You don't think Winks makes us tick so you'd prefer Sissoko? I don't see the logic. All the complaints you've made about Winks can be applied to Sissoko to an even greater extent.I know it's unpopular opinion, but I really don't wanna see Winks start this one.

Agreed. I have always been quite critical of Winks , but have to admit he proved me wrong on several occasions last season. In the two games so far, he may've been quite mediocre (so have others to be fair) but at least I appreciate the efforts he made. Our rather poor performances from the start this season may not even be down to Winks himself, but may rather been caused by how our midfield is structured at the moment (the dreaded diamond) and how he's used. A return to a 4-2-3-1 seems to be a solution, especially at home against weaker opposition. Most team will go 10 men behind the ball anyway.I know it's unpopular opinion, but I really don't wanna see Winks start this one.

3 pure CMS's again against Newcastle at home and no Eriksen on bench?
Yeee...
.. no mate, that's just wrong!
It's no coincidence because it led to a change in shape from a shit one where we always look poor, to one with an extra attacker where we look better. The formation was the issue, not Winks, if either of Sissoko or Ndombele had made way the same would've happened.
