Thing is, I still think we'll probably get this Lo Celso deal over the line, but I absolutely do not begrudge anyone who's having their doubts as we've all been here before with various targets in windows gone by. The excuses will get made if he doesn't come, but after hearing them year on year out, people are tired of it

I really like Hank as a poster. Don’t always agree with him but he’s got rhino thick skin, which I admire

I hope you're right about Lo Celso mate because at present, our squad is not big enough or good enough IMO. We lost over 20 games last season and that can't just be blamed on a World Cup hangover. We need greater depth and some extra bit of quality. Hopefully Levy will sort that in the next 9 days!!!

Either way, away from the playground name calling & sarcasm, anybody who thinks we are acting like an ambitious club needs to be locked away in a rubber room. Levy is not backing Poch, and I personally think he will leave next Summer if this continues to happen.

we was told at the start we had 4 targets. if we get Sess and Lo Celso what in that is not backing? give me a good reason why we would buy both before they returned from injury and holiday, and can't train, or play in preseason, or even get to know their work mates when we are nowhere in the same country

I really hope we do get both of them & I'd be happy if we got them both to add to N'Dombele but at present I just can't see it. I get your point on the pre season etc but the fact is we're leaving things to last minute yet again and not doing what Poch clearly wants. Have we got a Plan B if we sign neither? Because I can't see us linked with anybody else at present? And it was quoted several times by Lyall Thomas and Alisdair Gold over the Summer that when Poch said we needed to act like a big club, he meant get our targets in as early as possible so they can get involved in his brutal pre season sessions. If we don't sign players until deadline day, they won't be up to scratch or fully fit for us for a good few weeks.

It's just children infighting. Levy's economics. People who think they're being witty. Or meltdowns on Twitter.

Can't we get back on topic and post when there's something to discuss?

Betis have a training session early this evening, I am sure there will be some kind of update to as whether or not he trains with the main squad or on his own (It was posted this morning) other than that it'll be something in the press - it's all a big old waiting game.
