It's an internet forum people are going to post their opinions, if you want just the information thats what the RO is for.

No one has a problem with others posting their opinion, as you so eloquently stated, it's a forum, by the words definition it's a place for discussion.

I have a problem with that same opinion being posted every page in every thread without evolving it or elaborating on a specific point. At that point you're not exchanging ideas or opinions you're a parrot squawking into a void.

It gets tiresome to trawl through. You very well know only a fraction of info gets posted in the RO, media reports and off the cuff info from ITK or posters is rarely, if ever, added there it seems.

Again, sorry to add to this, folks. I won't post again on my frustration!

I'm new to this forum and it looks great. But the problem is, anybody who posts anything controversial or with a slight bit of criticism gets shot down and ridiculed by all the Levy lovers. We all want Spurs to be successful, and opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one. Just because someone has concerns or is being negative, doesn't make them less of a supporter.

On a brighter note, let's hope we win the Audi Cup tonight for some confidence going into the new season. COYS

Do you have a link to the article where Football.London say Atletico and Napoli are interested? I saw it go around the news aggregators but I'm not in a place to double check and quick glance turned up nothing.

I don’t think anyone had said they were less of a supporter. I think the issue is that this relentless negativity is genuinely and, for some, medically depressing.

We were in the champions league final but it became harder and harder to enjoy it through the forums, which in the past was the best place to come for discussion. It seems as though we’ll never recover from two empty transfer windows as the upset it caused will ever remain close to the surface.

we could win the CL and the prem this year and it wouldnt change the last 2 weeks of future transfer windows. human nature and all that.

Makes me chuckle that Yankspurs's comments are pretty much always the same but the ratings he receives changes from a bombardment of dislikes to winners as the window progresses. Happens every time.

It's the best example of the Cassandra metaphor I can think of. When things seem rosy, people dismiss him rudely. But when he's proven right, it's too late for us to adjust our expectations for the window, and a meltdown inevitably occurs.

It's normally a great sight with loads of banter. Some of us are just concerned with our business done so far, which is not nearly enough. As the window draws to a close, its natural for supporters to get edgey with only 1 signing in. We not happy making up the numbers and recognize that we fell apart in the 2nd half of the season and need more than one signing. 8 days left....

TBH I don't really see the problem with people arguing on this forum. Fighting with people is most of the reason I go on the internet in the first place. Plus it winds the mods up, which any self-respecting poster on any site should support.
