Superb signing, we were lacking one forward player. Takes pressure off Son and Moura if Kane is ever injured.

He will get game time imo

Considering his size (6'2) and our style of play, I kind of doubt Pochettino's plan for his future is a pure winger. Seems like they'll try to turn him into a Son type attacker or maybe even an attacking fullback.

Agreed. He's surely a better option coming off the bench/cup games than the likes of Nkoudou / no one.

In other news, I've just read that he was born in the year 2000. ?

Was going to make a post on his stats but imo he doesn’t have enough minutes to make a lot of conclusions about him as a player numbers-wise.

Wouldn’t surprise me if we take it slow with him. i.e. maybe starts the season in u23 and first XI exposure is through League/FA Cup. That said I thought that would be the case with Alli and look where that went.

Missed signing these kind of players (insert joke about missing any signings here), glad it sounds like we didn’t mess about with this one like we did with Grealish.

All for a bit of Yorkshire at the club.

Went to a school trip to York once. Lived with a 2000 year old man named Robert and his wife. And their tiny dog. First thing the dog did when we sat down in their sofa was to lie down on his back, spread his legs and reveal the biggest dog boner I have ever seen. If it was to assert dominance, it certainly worked.

Struggled a bit with the accent though. The lady asked us if we'd seen many "plaaaays" in the city centre. "Like theatre..?" we asked. Turns out she meant police. Nice lady though. She gave us juice.

Which is why I'm very positive to the idea of signing Jack Clarke.

Big if true.

£14 mill in this market, has a similar feel to Dele (obvs. a few quid more than Dele).

Silly question. If we sign a player but dont have the new seasons shirt released yet. What would they hold up? A scarf? I'm trying to think back of signings we've made where this has been the case....was Wanyama one?

I know that:

1) He's a Spurs fan in disguise and
2) He's a MONUMENTAL knob head

but Harry Hotspur, Bell-end extraordinaire, thinks it's "done" because the bookies have closed bets on him joining us.

Possibly the most miserable, contrary bugger on the internet. If we'd won the Champions League he'd be more concerned about the fact that Levy was getting away with some imagined wrongdoing.

must of been the same game i watched and i thought exactly the same as you. I even said to my young son "would be good if spurs bought him"

Exactly the same, some game over the Christmas period. I was watching with my dad and we both thought the same thing. I've kept an eye on him since then with the hope we'd be in for him in the summer.

They'll do a greenscreen shirt and Daniel will microsoft-paint the new kit over it later.

Yes, he had a scarf and a branded football.

Also, has anyone seen how the kid compares to Jarrod Bowen? Similar mould, but we’ve obviously decided to push harder on this one.
