As a one-off game Liverpool were there for the taking. Probably that lack of experience in finals as we seemed too eager to move the ball about quickly making the wrong decisions. Not to forget Liverpool were in last years final which will have helped.

In contrast, we didn't have a great season yet we made it to the final of the Champions League and for those three weeks leading up it has been brilliant.

One thing is for sure, great manager, great stadium, great team we have definitely turned the corner and up there with the very best.

What’s annoying is. I would have been less pissed off if Liverpool dominated us and won 3-0. We dominated the game and got beat 2-0, there is no excuse for such a limp showing, why the fuck would you give a guy who scored a hatrick only 30 mins at the end of a game?

What was gutted was not the lineup, but why were we so passive in our buildup to the front.

This has been such a persistent problem this season when we faced with pressing teams. Why do we need to give them so much respect? We need to be flexible and adjust, not everytime play from the back play from the back. It is so limiting.

Im really disappointed that Poch did not go all out and head for the kill. Arsene Wenger said it perfectly, we lacked the killer instinct. Astonishing when we got through so much difficulties to reach here today but we were so mellow ffs. Very very unlike Poch TBH. I would think he would want it more than any others in this club and let that mentality transcend to the rest.

But sadly no.

Sad, I thought we were the better team over the 90 mins. We definitely lack a cutting edge, hopefully we can address that in the summer. For myself, I don't think I'll ever have the fortune to see my club in the champions league final again.

Unlucky Spurs.
Penalty ruined it. Awful game.
So proud of this team and our club.
Worst final seen.
We played as we have recently, too slow, tapping it around between centerbacks, running the clock down when we are behind and need a goal. Frustrating.
Moura should have started imo but easy to say in hindsight.
I just wish I'd had money on Liverpool scoring in first 20min. Was always gonna happen.
Rose played really well. Our Mom for me.

This squad needs a massive refresh but I seriously doubt it will come. Same old excuses will be trotted out at the ned of the window...but but we tried just no-one who Poch wanted who could improve the squad
