Reminder that Real Betis record sales fee is 27mil. 53mil is a huge sum of money for a club of their stature.
Release clauses are like fire walls. I’m sure 60 million, providing no one else is as keen this early in the window, is enough to spark interest

Agreed. I can't imagine it would take much more. Fee paid to PSG was only £19.8m per Transfermarkt.

They also set their record buy at around 21m back in the 90s and haven't exceeded it since.

They're neither used to having a widely desirable property nor pursuing them. This is a new game to them so who knows how they will handle it.

Anyone watch many Betis matches? He seems like a tremendous prospect (and obviously not a finished product) but based off statistics he's more of a scorer than a creator. Of course this can be due to many factors including the players around him etc. Just curious as to how he could adjust to being more of a distributor than a finisher.

@Ghost Hardware thoughts?

I think Herc mentioned Ndombele and Lo Celso 'play different positions' i.e. we're targeting both of them and one isn't dependent on the other/

Going out for a family meal this Saturday evening?

Lol :LOL::LOL:

I was actually going out for the whole day on the pop. However, I've weighed this idea up, and kinda thought that 9 hours drinking pre match would probably see me pissed and not giving the match the full attention it deserves.

On this basis, I've decided to act my age and have invited the daughter, her bloke and the grandchildren round for an afternoon barbecue pre match, and then sit down and watch the match in the comfort of my home. :happy:
