Agree. Especially if you have to up almost 80m to sign both. Not sure even if "Levy opening the purse strings" is real we have that much money available plus more for Sess, Clarke, new RB, a DM, etc without a marquee sale.

Worried about DM & RB at this point, but I've just probably got too much Spurs TW PTSD from last year.

Going from no signings to Ndombele and Lo Celso would be nuts, not sure I would be able to fully comprehend it.

I'm comparing him to Lo Celso, because I think he would play deeper for us, and not the #10 position.

Lo Celso is better than Winks defensively, even when he plays as #10 for Betis.

All i'm really saying is, I think we can do better than what Winks is currently offering. It being N'Dombele or Lo Celso is fine for me, but CM should be trop priority this summer.

It's stupid comparing Ndombele and Winks anyway. Just want to have decent CM options for the first time in a billion years. We've been in a position where not having Dembele and then Winks fucks our whole team up for so long.

We all complain about depth so really it doesn't make sense to immediately try and oust players who can provide it. Same as people trying to be rid of Sissoko.

I don't mind the idea of getting players to get in the team ahead of them, but lets try and build an actual team first before we ship off actually contributing players.

Release clauses are in all contracts when it comes to La Liga to protect the players, doesn't mean they'll only accept that fee nor does it constitute a players value. Betis also didn't make Europe this season.
