They better, our best chance seems to be they drop more points than us vs we get more points than them.

I'm telling you, Leicester & Chelsea will be the winners tomorrow. United 'could' spawn a draw but I just don't see it.

However, I believe Herrera & Bailly could be back. If they're fit enough, they'd provide a decent base for Solskjaer to play Rashford & Martial. They could ruin that Chelsea back line.

Our inability to score first half goals has underpinned everything that's been wrong about us this season.

It’s as much the manager’s fault as the players. Although today I think it was the players. They had one eye on the semi final. It was so obvious. Plus everyone is knackered. Eg. That was our 53rd game of the season while it was west ham’s 41st.

We have just been so bad in the league this season. We've played well like 5 times all season, lost 12, rarely score more than 1 goal and can't defend for shit. We seem to turn abit on a bit in the CL but even there we were close to going out before the knockout stages. So bizarre that with 2 league games and 2-3 CL games this could be our worst season in years, or best in living memory. Reminds me of the year Chelsea won it (CL), they were absolute garbage that year. Absolutely praying that we make big changes this summer, but scarily the only players who seem likely to leave are 2 of our best (Toby and Eriksen).

Today was sickening but we didn’t deserve 3 points and were unlucky not to take 1. Janssen looked direct and handy after coming on but once again, missed.

Going to go to the wire methinks. Still think we can make top 4.

A draw would have been fair. We did well in the 1st half and they did well in the 2nd.

Janssen didn’t look too bad. At least he actually got into positions to get chances.

We're playing two sides who should be on the beach. Bournemouth are safe and Everton should be out of the race for 7th by the last day of the season.

If Hazard is injured and out for two weeks, it will be the end of Chelsea’s season.

They’ve practically been a one man team this season.

If SAF was still in charge at OT, he’d probably assign a fringe player to ‘take one for the team’ ?

True, but I think I read we’ve lost our last 7 or 8 away games. I think we will beat Bournemouth, we’ll have to, but recent results don’t point that way.

If arsenal and Chelsea both win today then we are back in trouble. We got so lucky last weekend that it’s unlikely lightening will strike twice.

I’m gutted we lost but I’m not overly bothered. We’ll still remain third after this set of games and we’re now officially underdogs for Tuesday - expectations are completely lowered, which is a good thing for us as that’s when we’re at our best. Midweek CL semi final game will be a million more times atmospheric than a morning game against our pretend rivals so hopefully we’ll be right up for it, with a bit of luck with injuries too - hopefully Sissoko, Winks or Vertonghen will be back.

Last week’s set of results for the others in the top 6 meant we could afford to lose this game. A draw between Utd and Chelsea would be nice, or a Utd win. Can’t see Arsenal getting 3 points away at Leicester either but even if they did it’s all still in our hands. The only shit thing will be playing Everton on the final Sunday if we need a win to guarantee top 4. The nerves would be awful.

Still, even that game will be at home Vs a team that may not have anything to play for.

Morning fellow maniacs, nihilists and masochists. The pain of having my gonads kicked in by a metaphorical Doctor Martin wearing facist is slowly subsiding following yesterday’s shit shower. We just need the Midlands swingers to pump the Arse and for Utd to start looking vaguely like a team of expensively assembled footballers to send the Chavs packing.

Sue from Londis wasn’t able to give me her prediction; she’s in hospital after befriending a scurry of squirrels

Did I?

That wasn't the intention. I said that Chelsea will do United, but then pointed out that United have some important players returning from injury that could make a difference.

They're returning, not necessarily playing.

I just went on to explain what 'could' change my prediction IF Solskjaer opts to use them. If he doesn't, and goes with the same sorry players/tactics that have seen the wheels fall off his team over the last month or so, they'll be beaten.
