If Arsenal and Chelsea win tomorrow,
Man United are out of the running but we’d be level on points with Chelsea and one point above Arsenal. We won’t have any wriggle room in our last two games. With our current injury list and the CL matches, there’s no guarantee that we’d get anything from our last two PL (although I’m hopeful but it’s too risky.).

If Arsenal and united win tomorrow, we’d be three points above both United and Chelsea. With our superior GD advantage over both those sides, we can afford to lose one and win the other of our last two games and still get TOP four.
Arsenal win...just can’t see it. Vardy will run them ragged. We will be there with Chelsea

We really could use one week break. All our front players look exhausted: Son, Alli, even Lucas. Kane and Lamela are probably out for the rest of the season so they will have to play at least 4 more games. At least Eriksen started to show some good signs.

I really don't blame Poch that he wanted to rest some players for Tuesday. What's the point of playing in the Champions League, if you sacrifise semi-finals for league game, cause you want to play in Champions League? You can't afford to lose in CL playoff. But we could afford to lose against WHU. Yes, I know it's WHU at home blah blah blah. But from 3 league games left, this was the hardest one. And even after deefat third place is still in our hands! To dare is to do. I'm still optimistic.

Jesus, didn't realise it could get that tight again.

Really didn't want to go to Bournemouth needing a win. If that's the scenario we're dealt with I think it's worrying, if I'm honest. Problem is that if Son is off form and turning in one of his 'ball getting caught under his feet' displays we look lacking up front. Today against a West Ham team shit away from home proved that records (as in Bournemouth's defensive record and record in general) don't always mean anything in the game at hand.

Let's hope that we only have to win one and we can seal the deal against Bournemouth.

I think we will get to the CL

But through winning it

YEAH BABY

In all honesty, and yes I was honest about winning the damn thing, we have lost SO many games and really only dawned on me today. We have lost a THIRD of our games this season - like WHAT THE FUCK? Is that more than the entire previous seasons losses totalled up? Those losses arent down to Wembley, its down to squad strength

Just shows how shit the other three teams are

It was arguably our easiest game left imo. West Ham are awful.

Like the rest of the post though

They weren't awful today they looked like a top four team and we looked like a mid table side no excuses

We made them look far better than they are. Their side is full of shit. We looked terrible second half. First half we were ok and in complete control

Whatever happens, some serious investment is needed over the summer. No more resting on our laurels, our current squad is becoming stale and our rivals are improving.

Of course he didn't, because there's one unambiguously-better-outcome-on-every-level and therefore no meaningful choice to make if you ask that question.

We have waited that long to bring fresh blood in that Poch and Levy have developed "Laurel Rash"......nasty :clown:

Still some funky results to come in this race.

As others have inferred, the worst case tomorrow is that both AFC and CFC win. If both lose, we will only need 3 points for top4.

If ACF lose and CFC win, we may not actually need another point - as can see Burnley bullying AFC last game of the season. Worst case is that we will need two points in that scenario.

I know everyone is downbeat and it is hard to see where points come following a tepid performance but whilst Bournemouth will be a very tough game, it is winnable. Fortunately, Everton drawing today will likely make their match with us a non event for them.

I was hoping to be relaxed going into the final game but that is looking less likely now.

Form and fatigue is the worry. West Ham were so open today and we didn't have the energy or quality to punish them. I think there was a case of some players thinking about Tuesday but that doesn't explain Son's performance. He's either knackered or injured. We are so reliant on him with Kane out.

Huge day tomorrow. Can we be bailed out by poor results elsewhere again?

Agree when the team came out for the second half they spent the first four minutes 25 yards from goal corner after corner, free kicks it was terrible they wanted it more with both poch and the team impotent.
