If any ST holders aren't going and want to use the ticket thing to allow me and my Dad to go...

Its so random, the last browser I opened got in first, some of the others have only just got in. I forgot how much I hated the old system of getting tickets.
Went to the final game at WHL, was desperate to get to the first one

I know of tickets for Huddersfield and West Ham but nothing for Palace. Crazy that people buy just to put on Stubhub.

It generally seems to be a shite system, completely random and nobody knows or understands how it works.

I think as long as you get on there at around an hour before they go on sale you should be fine.. especially for the rest of the home games (bar City)

Btw, now that the stadium is up and running and by all accounts appears to be a real success, it will be interesting to see if Levy and Lewis will be looking to sell the club in the next 24 months. And for that matter, if there is much interested at their £2b much-touted asking price.

Perhaps a sports/music entertainment company such as AEG? Or an American investor with links to the NFL?
I still think they won't look seriously at this until they have extracted the potential profits from Phase 3 and used it to reduce debt. With that still unresolved, it reduces the sale value of the enterprise.

Really not sure whether to just buy one for £200 off of StubHub. Really don't want to but is realistically my only chance now.

I wonder how many full capacity events Wembley stages in a year. The only sports events it gets full gate receipts is England which must be about 5 or 6 games a year. Everything is shared receipts.
I believe the original planning consent is for 13 full-capacity events p.a. That was temporarily extended (controversially) for our tenure there.

Ouch. Feel sorry for members moving forward.

The Palace game is a particular anomaly. Its literally a once in a lifetime match and its not on tv. Other games - especially next season - will be much more attainable for members. I've missed out and seem to have had a very similar experience this morning to @nicdic, but while I'm gutted to not be going on April 3, I'm sure I won't have to wait long to get there for a proper game.

Category B and C games in the grip of Autumn/Winter will still take a few hours, if not days, to sell out. Today was absolute peak demand (despite being a midweek/evening kick off).

I'm so chuffed.. going this sat with my son and now of off to the first prem game with mate, opening ceremony, under the light (and no hand holding).. this could be the best few days ever coming up :) witnessing and savouring history!!!!!

Only invested 2 mornings and 3 hours watching blue doughnuts and £80 .. so worth it

Nobody cares, nobody is jealous. The sun will still be up, it'll be shit :finger:.

Jealous as fuck

They may as well do it as a lottery, like they did at the back end of the final season. The ticket queing system is random anyway, and I have wasted the best part of 2 mornings trying to get tickets. I even got in and watched as tickets I tried to select got sold to other people.
I took the morning off to try and get tickets, I cant do that every week, at least before, you put your application in and waited for a confirmation email if you were lucky, rather than waste vast amounts of time on a system that has no reason!

Damn it. Must remember to log on as soon as I get to work for the City tickets. Shame. Looks like shoddy stream it is.
