BEN: ITS NOT NIKE STDAIUM!!

I've never pronounced the E as EE anyway. Always thought that the yanks call it Nikee but over here we call it Nike.
I'm probably wrong though!
BEN: ITS NOT NIKE STDAIUM!!
KEYS WRONG!
Seems strange for a media guy to announce something so major, with such officious confidence, and for it to be completely wrong.
However, it is Richard Keys we're talking about. It's possible that he dreamt it all the night before, staggered into the studio wearing nothing but a pair of piss stained y-fronts, and told everyone that he had inside info on the new Spurs stadium.
On balance, I'm leaning towards the latter explanation.
I can live with the Nike stadium although will still be called The Lane
If MP and the players kept referring to it as the Nikey Stadium for instants, then we would eventually fall in line. It is not an unpleasant name.No spurs fan will call it whatever its called. To us it will always be the lane. I would suggest that might scare a sponsor off, but the home fanbase alone means fuck all to sponsors.
In my opinion it will be called " The Nike Arena"
Richard Herring been doing this for a few years now. Used it as a good way to raise money for charity and he talks about it in his podcast.
yep...I don't know why but here in the US we've always said/heard NIKE-ey. And after a little research, it appears we're saying it correctly: https://www.theguardian.com/media/s...nd-names-audi-adidas-porsche-yvessaintlaurentFecks sake.
First the faulty feckin fire alarms, and now the wrong keys.
