I think for the most part people have been patient at least to a degree but last night was a tough one to take with that being third semi-final in a row and we also lost a final.Comes down to two things, High Expectations and Low Patience. It's not rocket science, we have clearly been doing a fantastic job with the players we have, and we are blessed to have one of the best managers in the world at the head of our team. If we can't be patient and wait for the final push towards our goal of winning the league and trophies, then we shouldn't be supporting a club like Tottenham.
I too have been frustrated at times, however the bigger picture is still a beautiful sight so I generally like to keep that in mind. The things we complain about today will be things we laugh about tomorrow.
@Spurrific Why not bitch and moan some more instead of throwing around spam ratings for those of us who have a pair between our legs?
I fucking love threads like this. See post above ^Fucking me this thread is embarrassing
C'mon dude, he's just depressed. Be the bigger man. We've all been here its just about getting on. I long for the past, my sadness is age related/nostalgic I think. How about you wipe the tears from your little soft cheeks, pal? I rated your fucking stupid post spam, because it was nonsensical bollocks and it’s embarrassing that anybody would think it was anything close to accurate.
Who are you to tell people to support another team? You’re fucking nobody. You, and the other super levelheaded heroes have no emotional reaction to losing to Chelsea in a cup semi - congratulations? You lot need to stop patting yourselves on your backs. Acting unperturbed by Spurs falling at one of the last hurdles again doesn’t make you a better Spurs fan. You, and the others that agreed with your dogshit post, are fucking ridiculous to insinuate that we should support another team because we’re pissed off at going out to a shit, shit Chelsea team.
Leicester, Swansea, Birmingham and fucking Wigan Athletic have won trophies since we last did - don’t come out with stupid banal shit like “we’re not in a position to win trophies” if you don’t want somebody with an actual brain to think it’s dense.
This kind of attitude is embarrassing.
Let's look at a few other Clubs who have been in and around us over the years.
Everton, Newcastle, even Aston Villa. We're miles a head of these Clubs. Yes we were ahead in the Redknapp era but we've kicked on so much these Clubs are an after thought to us now.
We are competing with the top Clubs on a regular basis.
Let other fans take the piss, it's part of what football is all about but our time is coming and I think most fans who have a modicum of intelligence recognise our remarkable progress but have a hard time actually praising us and will continue to use this stick to beat us with.
Nothing depressing about it, it's exciting thinking about the future. Yes the stadium debacle has been very frustrating but the future looks amazing in my eyes.
Some have to show a bit more patience and believe.

And where are they now?How about you wipe the tears from your little soft cheeks, pal? I rated your fucking stupid post spam, because it was nonsensical bollocks and it’s embarrassing that anybody would think it was anything close to accurate.

I agree we aren't elite yet.
I don't necessarily think we are 3-5 years off though. We're 2-3 quality signings off.
I don't get it...
I think its one of the most EXCITING time to be a Spurs Fan...
1. we got a new stadium, heck we might not move into it this season... but 2 seasons away is the norm for a redevelopment.
2. we are doing so well in the league for haven't spent ZERO in the summer transfer window, and the current window.
3. we are still in the champions league, heck the very fact we are now a champions league side is exciting enough
4. fine, we lost to chelsea, but we made a cup semi final losing on penalties, no shame there.
5. we have a great team, a great coach, and a young squad with bags of potential.
happy times to be a Spurs fan... try supporting west ham. or even everton.
You can put is in bold as much as you like, it's not 'depressing'. Yes, there is a stream of negativity what with the stadium, injuries, last night's result but if you're telling me, seriously, that you are actually depressed about it then you need to go have a thunderwank and then see a specialistCome off it. Let's be honest, If you aren't upset/gutted/depressed (or whatever adjective you choose to describe the feeling) by our lack of luck, whether it be regarding the stadium issues, or our lack of luck in key moments during key matches, injuries, etc., then you're, simply put, lying. The bad news keeps coming our way. And it sucks. And it is depressing.
Being so close, yet so far is depressing. Watching our best team and best manager in decades fall short and not win anything is depressing. Our delayed stadium is depressing.
And yet, we have to be and should be so excited about what the future holds for this club. Because I too believe we are close to great things and it will come. I just hope we get more time with this team and most importantly with Poch.

And just because I don't agree that doesn't make me a liar
I got 99 problems and Spurs ain't one of them.
