At some point the club are going to have to do something with Sterling when he is fully fit,he is 20 years old and should be getting first team experience and if they are not going to use him next year then they should loan him out for the season.

The rest of this year is about getting Sterling fit because he has been out for so long.

Tell you what I’d love to have sterling do rest if the season at MK.

Pretty sure they are going to lose Aneke in jan so he’ll get plenty of game time.

He is not %100 fit yet and needs the matches,he did look better at Stevenage the other night but if he was to go in Jan he needs to start games if not at least he is getting matches with the u23s.

it's a good idea providing he starts games and is not sitting on a bench every week.

Yea he would have to go to a club where he’d play.

Aneke will go if he doesn’t get injured again and Healey loan is up in jan too.

I’m a big fan of sterling and would like to see him play. He’s got goals in him

I am surprised that clubs have not asked about him before.

Not a chance wolves will sell they have serious ambitions to be top 6. Unless a player is running down a contract it’s incredibly hard to get a player out of another PL team bar say Cardiff or Huddersfield.

Agree, i think having the likes of Dele and Kane in the team plus the new stadium will have some pull for young English players. But as you said it will be extremely unlikely.

Gibbs-White will be a top player no doubt in my mind.

IM, Onomah is lacking work rate. He needs to look for the ball and make runs when his team are in possession and track his marker & get back into his defensive position when out of possession. Physically and technically, he is fine, it's mentally and tactically where his problem lies.
I agree with you about the mental & tactical improvements that Onomah needs to find. However, i get frustrated when I read/ hear about creative players, particularly midfielders (Hoddle, Joe Cole, Le Tissier & John Barnes come to mind) needing more work rate. That's not their game!

Apart from pressing, modern football is more about better positional/ tactical acumen and having self-confidence of your own game/ technique. For me, Onomah has not been confident enough with his own game and hasn't taken the same risks at the right times, as he took at youth & u23 level. Functional players take less risks and often find the transition to the men's game easier.

Many are reading far too much into this. Poch has done this loads of time with lots of the youth.

Not sure tbh. Why not then take someone like Roles who you’d assume may be closer to actually getting in squad. For me it’s part of the integration process as they did with Skipp as opposed to just a random jolly. Tob was given a chance at 17 which I presume he basically failed. So parrott few trips then some training next year and possibly a bench place towards end of season and have him ready for next season when he will be 17.5 yrs. my point is they probably have a planned timetable for him as opposed to just come along for a bit of experience.

I’d like to see Sterling promoted to first team squad, he scored in pre-season before last (I believe he was injured this summer) and I reckon he could do a good job and should at least be given a chance before we look to buy another striker.

If we was not to buy I would have no problem with the Club having a look at him,I am not a fan of Sterling but I am aware he does score a lot of goals and something needs to happen for him next season.

Are you talking about how he is now or about his past ?

Just generally. He's missed a lot of football and often takes a while to find his feet when he gets back. A coach could be forgiven for forgetting Sterling exists and when they remember him I think the thing that would stick in the mind is that he has spent a lot of time out injured. I'm not saying its fair.

i think the point of contention is saying that he can be a kane back-up next season, that's a bit of a jump from getting to sit on the team bus with the first team. poch typically takes one u18 up every season and i've little doubt that this is with a view to integrating parrott into regular first team training next season but we've all seen how long the process is to go from that to actually playing games.

I Agree but players like Ogilvie and Harrison have found loan clubs in the past with their bad injury records, maybe their is always a manager whiling to take a gamble on a player.

Yup I’d agree but the Kane back up position is a bit of a unique situation. Granted in reality next season maybe a season too early. But then what’s the alternative spend another £25m on someone to sit on the bench. Right now if you had to rotate Kane you’d probably go for Son anyway. They might just feel it’s worth the gamble and may save them £25m.
