Do we have any promising left backs in youth set-up?

We had Bennetts, which was a real shame he left as maybe we should have been looking to give more chances.

We also have Georgiou, although I believe he’s more of a left winger unless he is converted like arose was.

And Ogilvie, although he’s been loaned to Stevenage a couple of times and didn’t seem too far up pekking order?

We do not know what will happen with Brown but we have Dennis Cirkin who looks very good.

One player who could make a good wing back is Rayan Clarke because he is good going Forward but he is also good at Defending as well.

If he plays tomorrow I really hope more than ever he does well. You can't take out a youngster who has a great game against Barcelona the way he has been against English cup opposition.

Right footed though.

Ogilvie hasn't developed as much as was hoped. Georgiou is definitely more of a winger and will do fine at League 1/2 level. I'm not really sold on Cirkin. Brown is okay but I don't think he's good enough to step up.

So, for me, the answer is no.

Marcus Edwards did not play in Excelsior's 6 - 0 defeat to PSV over the weekend.

Josh Onamah did not come off the bench in Sheffield Wednesday's 2-2 draw with Rotheram.

Bennetts was also more of a winger, wing back maybe but defo not in a back 4.

Wonder who 19th man will be tomorrow. Guess they will just take one from the UYL team. Be quite an experience for someone.

Bennetts struggled at both LB and LWB and to be fair I am not sure he wanted to play that position and at the end of his time at Spurs you could see he was not happy playing there, much more effective as a winger.

I still reckon Ogivlie could probably do a job but he has never been the right 'type' of fullback, I havn't seen him for ages but he has talent now ahs a lot of expreince, I imagine he could do a job as a squad player. But that's so far gone now.

Brown I've always liked as steady but reckon he'll be off soon.

Most people will know I'm a really big fan of Cirkin and I feel he has vindicated my opinion of him this season. He's been one of our best players easily along with White and Markanday. Intelligent in defence and attack and not afraid to get stuck in. A real prospect to look out for, and he has been an ever present in a strong England age group, though I'd be lying if I said I knew what competition he had there.

Apparently Poch has said KWP will be starting at RB v Barca.
From Dan Kilpatrick on Twitter:
#thfc Poch says KWP will play right-back tomorrow. "It will make him stronger than before. I don't have doubts. I want to remind you that a year ago he won the U20 WC in Korea."

I'm pleased for him and everything but can't imagine the pressure he is under. Best player in the world roasts, him "I don't think he's ready yet". Knows a MOTM performance guarantees him nothing but the smallest slip up and he might not be seen again.

Then I await, "if he can't handle that pressure then he isn't ready to play for Spurs" All I can say is good luck to the player who looks a shadow of his former self at the moment, and if he has a great game, hope for him more than anything he gets another chance and can actually start his career.

Marsh, Parrott and Whiteman have all travelled and are training with the first team (as well as Skipp, who will be on the bench).

No doubt with a view to integrating Marsh with the first team so he is ready to take over Dier's spot next year

Judging by Poch's treatment of Foyth, a bad game/a few mistakes won't have a negative impact on how he is viewed by him and the coaching team.

Mate, I understand your reservations but let's not put negative spins on the players we want to play getting starts, let's just be happy about it and look forward to seeing him play.

Well it does look like the integration of Parrott has begun and Leicester wasn’t just a one off jolly. Didn’t expect it till next season tbh. Certainly the youngest since poch has been here.
