Just seen some pics some of our players are posting from Liam Brady Cup. In Walcott's, Pedder has sneaked onto the end of a team pic in training gear.

I can only assume he must be here next year, I can't imagine why else it would be anywhere near that tournament, unless he was still injured, and the club were supporting him through his recovery before releasing him. Otherwise suggests he will still be here.

Maybe Reo knows Parrot is a more complete player and can tell he won't be getting a shot? This Parrot kid seems to be everywhere right now.

Weary to say it, as I've only seen him play about 4 games now, but I do get the feeling, Parrott is better than Griffiths or will be better than Griffiths. Though Reo's goal tally is nothing to be sniffed at. But between Richards, who was really impressive last season, plus Parrott (and Asante) joining next season I am not massively concerned. I actually think Griffiths going abroad is a better decision than Parrott coming here, but selfishly I still want the best players here, and I think ultimately Parrott is the best striker. Everything I've seen from him screams suggest he's a real talent

I am naive to the youth setup so I take your word for it. I have maybe watched 360 total minutes of youth soccer in the last two years being an Yank.

But the highlights I see show me a physical specimen with a knack for scoring goals and a technically proficient player scoring goals.

Again, 360 live minutes and a bunch of highlights, but I see the Reo comparisons of Lukaku. I haven’t seen much of Troy, but he seems a more mobile Kane, but a real magic about him. Comparison is the theif of joy, but he has this air about him...a little Zlatanish

I’m sure Griffiths is playing games , look how he advertised the Germany tournament to make everyone think he was leaving . He will of course be in a different changing room as an u23 next season thus being why he’s quote on his social media says it’s his last few days in this changing room . I think Our Reo likes to play games

If I was sterling I would be worried. Both Troy and Griffiths do seem more natural goal scorers

Yeah I did wonder if U18 and U23 have a different changing room. If been in one changing room for a few years would still feel a big deal to move.

I wouldn’t know for sure how the changing rooms would work , but going by his previous social media , he likes the attention and likes to keep everyone guessing

This.

Whether he's going or not doesn't bother me but he seems like either a massive idiot or a massive attention seeker.

I'd guess it's the latter and tbh that makes him a bit of a prick: disrespectful to coaches, teammates and club in general.

Because a 17 year old who has grown up in social media generation isnt posting on social media for the readers of this thread, hes posting to communicate with other people in his age group and girls. None of that equals to being a prick or disrespectful.

Whilst I totally agree, they get so much media training even at his age, and he should be aware of the cans of words he's opening.

I wouldn't go as far as saying he's being a prick or disrespectful, but he definitely knows what he is doing.

Seems the kind of bloke who loves the attention and is revelling in this "will he, won't he" scenario - he is always liking and retweeting people on twitter who are asking him to stay and lead Spurs' front line with Kane, not to leave and replace Llorente etc.
