CONTROVERSIAL OPINION:-
Had Paulinho played instead of Mason this season, he would have scored 10+ goals.
I don't think he is a bad player, just not quite as graceful as you would expect a Brazilian international to be.
60+ minutes at home vs. Stoke last season. He was truly brilliant.
I'm sorry, but when and where did he show glimpses of brilliant skill, because I'm really struggling to see when this was.
Got to love opinions.
How anyone can have watched Pauline stroll about, then how we looked with Mason and come to the conclusion we'd have been better with Pauline is truly mind boggling.
Each to his own.

True, but he came from Olimpia in Honduras straight to the Premier League (loan to Birmingham, then transfer to Wigan).
He looked world class that day until fucking charlie adam took him down. Never looked as good as he did that day, but I still think there's a player in there we could use. Hope we don't cut him loose this summer.Yeah, it's such a sad. He was starting to look really good, still wondering what would've happened without his injury..
he's been no worse than Lamela and better value for the price, and brilliant compared to Soldado. he's just the latest scapegoat.
Paulinho is more of a goal scoring threat if someone else puts him in a finishing position but he's not gonna beat or even take anyone on 1v1
He'd thrive in a tiki taka type possession based system he's more suited for La Liga or Serie A imo
disagree Lamela has something you can see there is one hell of a player there its just will he be able to produce it.
