Just looking at Palace's fixtures, they have a potentially big game on Saturday vs Burnley so they could rotate a few players for our game midweek given they also play today.

Certainly, you would think Burnley at home is the more winnable game for them and Allardyce is like that. He targets certain games ahead of time and rotates accordingly.

Teams like Palace, Burnley, Leicester, WBA, Stoke, etc have nothing to play for now. They are safe in the league. Most of the players on those types of teams will be looking forward to their holidays in Ibiza, Dubai, etc.

Except Leicester would love to fuck us up and help Chelsea to repay the favour of last season.

Palace are not safe. They're 4 points off the relegation zone on 35 points, with a tough run in. They need another 3 points imo

If we beat Arsenal and United and United beat City and Arsenal I think that will seal 2nd for us. It could be as simple as that.

I wonder how the Sunderland fans are feeling seeing Allardyce doing so well at Palace while Dour Dave was warning them of relegation before a ball was kicked.

Allardyce
“We have Tottenham on Wednesday and Burnley after that. It lifts the pressure on us. I am worried these lads can’t reach this level when they don’t have time to recover.

“I may have to make huge changes to make sure we compete with Tottenham.”

Hopefully he does make changes as they're playing very well at the minute

Basically means he's gonna play a weakened team but can't openly say that as it's against the rules.

Bare in mind one of those changes is likely to be their best defender coming in [Sakho]

so, six games to go.... wasn't that the same as a couple of days ago? Plenty of bed wetting going on here, I'm not expecting the players to do the same. Let's see what happens. No matter today's result, we're still 6 games out and 4 points away from the title - GAME ON!
