Decades in which we have massively underdelivered. If this team wants to amount to anything we need to start winning things.
Dont disagree with that mate and of course we want to win things but you need a shit load of luck as well as a great team to win any cup.
Finishing outside top 4 would be disappointing as we're definitely one of the best 4 in the league imo.
However if we do get top 4 I pray we try harder in cl than we did this season where we embarrassed ourselves.
Id take 4th and be over the moon to win fa cup. I wouldn't say I expect it as a minimum requirement.

Chelsea have won it today. Let's see if we can make some progress and finally finish above Arsenal for once.

In all honesty though top 4 and a cup and it's a fantastic season. We're not winning the league now, especially with the injuries we have.

Even if Chelsea had lost today we still wouldn't have won the league. We do however, have a realistic chance of finishing above Arsenal this year. Like I said before - five teams going for three CL places and we're currently in first place.

Just focus on 2nd now, need to be mentally strong and not drop off

This will be the biggest test of our mentality now, will our players remain focused despite the league looking unwinnable now? We all witnessed what happened after we thought it was gone last season, mentally we gave up and ended up finishing third, with the margins so fine now we can't afford to drop off or we will drop out of the top four.

Are there only 2 games if the season left?

The same this happened with Leicester last year. Sometimes you can just see a title winning team. No injuries. Power. Pace. Desire. Determination.

Unfortunately that's not us.

A top 4 finish and a trophy would be great in my eyes

I think we are the best team in the league on our day, the problem is consistency, Chelsea have been consistently better than us, on our day we outplayed them but we drew too many games at the start of the season, you have to be ready from day one.

Start of the season I was unsure, I would have said anywhere from 3rd-6th would be a good season for us as I thought the league was weaker last year but the problem is now, we have shown we are capable of beating the best, we have shown we can finish in the top 4 with this side and it isn't some sort of fluke occurrence, I would say It is a minimum requirement for top 4 now if we want this team and fans to believe they are capable of special things, anything else would be a failure at this juncture considering the talent we have at our disposal as we all know they are capable of it.

The only thing that would stop that happening is injuries or mentality (downing the tools now the league looks like it has gone) that and given we are about to move stadium, we need the CL and we need a trophy both in terms of money and confidence, the players and Poch have both acknowledged this, a trophy may not happen as with competitions like the EL and FA Cup luck also plays a part, luck plays a part in the league as well of course but generally because it is a competition over time more often than not the better teams finish higher.

We have a better first 11 than Liverpool, we are slightly better than Arsenal, Man City are off the pace and inconsistent with an ageing squad and United aren't even close, I think if we finish outside of the top four we only have ourselves to blame and it would be a failure on behalf of the players and management.

Yes it was. Who can beat them? Us yes but we've finished our 2 games against them. Nobody else can match their physicality and skill. Plus they don't get injuries and no Europe so always seem to have their best players available.

It's over.

There ain't no fat lady singing yet! Pratt on BT said "Chelsea beat Arsenal so they have effectively won the league today", what the fuck? Arsenal were third and if we'd played chelsea at home and lost and Arsenal were in our position they would not have said that.
Win today and as you were, chelsea are favourites but it ain't over yet.
