He should have gone last summer.

He's only going to depreciate at an alarming rate.

Massive error in signing him.

Hoped he could turn it around but if he's just awful. If he had any pride he pay back his salary.

We may as well just tell him to go back to Spain now.

Rather put a youngster on the bench Sunday.

Yep. We better all pray hard that Kane doesn't get injured, because our season will go downhill very fast.

Truth is we should have signed another striker in the summer and then again in January, but it's the same old story and the same old excuses really as far as our transfer business is concerned.

If we can get anywhere near £5m for this flop we'd be laughing...

But who the hell is gonna pay him 60K a week? No-one, so unfortunately we're stuck with him for the duration of his contract and we'll have to loan him out till it runs out.

Obviously a good professional and seems like a nice guy, it just hasn't happened for him with us. No point in acting like complete mongs and calling him "a useless wanker" and the like though. We should take what we can get in the summer (along with lamela) and roll the dice again.

What's more crazy is poch and pretty much everyone else could never imagined what kane would do so they must have thought Soldado and Adebayor was enough!

How much for the both of them? 55mill spent 18 months ago. 20 now?

Well...I don't even know what to say. I have nothing against him but surely it's game over for him here now?

I can't believe it's taken some people this long to get to this point. It was pretty obvious he wasn't good enough after less than half of last season.

20-25m if I was speculating. Sounds depressing bit if you were to offset that against Eriksens obvious rise in value then our spending splurge probably leaves us about square in pure £'s.

Just horrendous. He's never going to come good for us. Why we didn't try and sell him in January for even£10 million and use that to sign ings or another striker I'll never know.

He's got no fight or determination about him.

The talent is clearly there but he's not interested.

Agreed with the thrust of that, but even putting aside my ever-increasing annoyance with him (that only seems to grow greater with his every disgraceful performance), you're being WAAAAY optimistic if you had his market value at anything over £nil at Christmas. We couldn't give him away in January, and we won't be able to in the summer either.
