Not great that we're picking out 2 or 3 games a season for 'best atmosphere'. Should be every single home game!!! The commentator said yesterday for the last 20 minutes we were amazing... Although last 20 minutes, can anyone confirm if we were good? It sounded so on the T.V. Shame about it being 20 minutes though!

Anfield must surely be the best. I hear players will bite your arm off to play there....

Went to the Westfalenstadion to watch Dortmund as part of my 18th birthday.

Wow, never seen/heard anything like it since.

Dortmund is amazing.
St. Pauli is fun, excellent fans!

But yeah, Borussia Dortmund have arguably one of the best match-day atmospheres i know.

Anfield is average to be honest, it has very good moments, but it is NOT the be all and end all many claim. Still i was only up there to see the against Fulham, so maybe that was it (Liverpool supporting friends stag do before anyone asks). Seating is appalling unless you're a midget but at 1m 90 tall it was a brutal experience. Horrible.

WHL has good moments, but it has gone a little too chatty (mostly people moaning) and not enough singing in recent times.

As I cam't be at WHL very often entering it is the best atmosphere I know. It is about history, about glory, about being there so close to the pitch.
I was at four CL home games and two London Derbys.... that was unbelievable. shame it isn't like this every week but whatever, WHL has the best atmosphere (imho)

Yeah Sunday was pretty good, an improvement on what its been like recently. Just had a couple of five minute spells where it dropped off but it didn't go silent like it has done at some games this season. The club definitely need to put the people who want to be noisy together rather then them being spread out. The kop like stand for the new ground would be ideal but whether that happens or not is another matter entirely.

From what I've seen the Liverpool atmosphere is very much a sing for the telly support. I remember a few seasons back when we played at Anfield and the only people you could hear were Spurs fans.

WHL is often mentioned by commentators as having one of the best atmospheres in the league at the moment, which considering how the Lane has declined since the Jol/Robbo days is a damning indictment of Premier League supporters.

Millenium Stadium, although Cardiff Arms Park (which it replaced) was miles better. That could've been the time (80s/90s) as much as anything else, watching sport was just better then!

Really impressed with the atmosphere at the Liberty Stadium last season.

WHL is good if everything is going well but we're a fickle lot.

I think St Andrews was quite good but I was very drunk. Villa Park has always been quite good but I've never been when they're as shit as they are now.

Other than that the atmosphere in all other grounds I've been to has either been a bit meh or generated by the away support (Hereford v Newport this year being a particular favourite :singing: ).

And the worst atmosphere at a ground has been Wembley.....mind you it was the semi against Portsmouth and a third full FA Trophy final last season.
