The money certainly but not Jose....he’s got to go before the end of the season.
Bring in Rafa Benitez on a short term deal

And rinse repeat... With all due respect, I don't think that'll work unless there's some sort of longevity as there was with Poch. I like Rafa as well, but I don't see him as any kind of upgrade on Jose. If anything, we'll be in the same boat with many talking about his sacking right about this time next season as he won't deliver fast enough... I just hope Levy sees the bigger picture and we stick with Jose for the long haul - just my two cents...

An 18 year deal is possibly far too long for this sort of thing. The world will be a very different place in 2030, for example, and it's tricky to predict if it's good/bad to be locked in to 10mill a year for another 8 years. There are plenty of players bought a few years back that look incredible value for money now for what seems like a mind-boggling sum back then.

Regardless of duration, a sponsorship deal would be all the worse for us if the cash is front loaded and we blow it on an inadequate or short-term manager's whims.

With an NFL link up we are exactly that.
Tottenham Hotspur are not an American franchise. We are not owned by an American company. At all. IF the NFL decides to base a permanent NFL team at our stadium, Tottenham Hotspur are still not an American franchise. We just happen to let them use our stadium.
