Tottenham could sell another player to Bayern Munich in the January transfer window, according to reports. Eric Dier may follow his former team-mate Harry Kane to the Allianz Arena as Thomas Tuchel looks to strengthen his defensive options.

That seems like a good outcome for everyone: We shift a player who is clearly not going to play, Bayern get that cb/dm depth they need, Dier gets a new start, and Kane gets a good mate at his club. Make it so.

No we don't want to sell..... 30 million, ok we will reluctantly sell, he will be missed!

I know we won't get 30 million, I would beh apply with anything above 5 million as our if contract soon.

It's a good outcome for everyone except Bayern. And probably Dier when he ends up in the same situation he's in now. And us if it's an appearance-based fee. But other than that I agree

Different league, different demands, could be a fantastic opportunity for Eric and both clubs.

...but there'll still be people in here who have decided he's worse than dogshit and talk about him like he's partially sighted.

Can't even just not click on the thread, preferring to post and remind us all of their low opinion of him. I wonder if they click on Youtube videos of stuff they don't like, just so they can comment on the video and tell everyone it's shit, instead of just... y'know... not clicking on it?

Different league, different demands...but this just sounds like blind hope. What about his performances as a CB for us over the last 5 years makes you think he'd be a good buy for any elite level club? Stylistically he seems a bad fit for Bayern and how they want to play. Just nowhere near good enough in possession and way too many lapses in concentration. It's not about pissing on our own players, it's about giving our opinion on what we've seen of him.

I'm not a manager, I don't pick the team. If any manager decides he's a good fit then I'm not going to argue with them. They know better than me.

I do know that Eric has been a professional for us for 9 years and deserves a lot more respect than way too many people on here have shown, frequently, every single time his name comes up in a thread title. Just a queue of people waiting to shit on him for some reason, regardless of how genuine or likely the news is. Lot of short memories, man.
