Ignoring the deadline, Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy, according to reports, has instead flown to the US for the weekend. Bayern had given the Premier League club a deadline of midnight on Friday after making a substantial bid for Kane. But Tottenham neither accepted nor rejected the £86m offer.

Be interesting to see if he plays today. If not then he's signed and that's why Levy has gone away as the deal is already done. Can't wait to see the team today.

He's totally getting his farewell today isn't he? Which is fair enough. Arguably the greatest player this club has had. Up there with Hoddle, Greaves, Blanchflower etc. He should have his chance to say goodbye to his home, and we should have the chance to thank him and wish him well. You can't say this isn't a significant thing for all involved.
