I couldn't find another thread for this- Former Spur leaves Derby and returns to San Jose where he was on loan for two years from Spurs.
Derby head coach Paul Clement told the club's website that the Jamaican international is "an example to us all" after his departure from Pride Park.
"We wish Simon, who was a popular member of the dressing room, every success at San Jose Earthquakes," said Clement.
"He handled that situation well - it would have been easy to down tools, reduce his effort and possibly be disruptive.
"Instead, he was professional, respectful and hard-working and he dealt with the disappointment with class and he is an example to us all."
He never really got going for us but what glowing comments from Clement. He seems to be a real pro and I for one wish him well.
