I don't even start looking at the table properly until at least ten games have been played, its fucking pointless.

Just get rid of the VAR, there is no point any more. The David Luiz incident is beyond ridiculous.
I was wondering why I enjoyed the Carabao and Europa games so much, until I realized that this was due to the lack of VAR checks (combined with Spurs wins of course).
There should be room for human error in football, and that includes refereeing. Hopefully someday someone draws the line in the correct distance between what is a huge mistake that has to be corrected, and minor injustices invisible to te naked eye.

Not watching, what is the Luiz incident?

He pulled an opponent back from the shirt, when the striker was one-on-one with Arsenal's keeper after Luiz's mistake. It sould have been e red, but it went completely unpunished (the ref never saw the foul). At 0-0, around 20th minute.

I think if we can get a defender in we will be up there if we continue with how we are in an attacking sense and with Bale? fucking hell

Say it quietly. We are going to be in a title race I have no doubts.
Liverpool aside I don't see any outstanding team.
Liverpool have been unbelievably lucky with injuries.
Man City rely totally on Sterling

We really have a chance.

Dark horse being Everton.

Honestly believe we could win the league. We just look so sharp, hungry and motivated.

In addition we have the luxury to completely rotate our team between CL/El due to our amazing squad.

Sonny says in his Spurs TV interview he is staying this international break. That is huge for us.

These past 3 weeks have made me love spurs again, we are playing free flowing football again

If I was talking to Levy, I would say sign a CB and you're fighting for the title

We can get at Liverpool's defence too. They really aren't up to it so far. City's is still questionable. United poor. Chelsea's is new. Arsenal's is capable of off days. I'm confident going up against them.

Must resist getting over excited.

fuck it, it’s on.

It is on. This is the best squad we've had for a while. We're blowing teams away. Just goes to show what happens when you buy players and others raise their game in fear of losing their place. Dropping alli has done wonders for us going forward

We have scored a total of 18 goals against 3 of our opponents in the first 8 games (all comps) of the season.

Mourinho is back, we'll be right up there imo.

Add in that CB and yeah we could win the league.
