Two of Tottenham's Premier League matches in April have been rescheduled and it has a knock-on effect for their Carabao Cup final appearance.
It was confirmed on Tuesday that the match against Everton will now be played on Friday April 16 at Goodison Park and will now kick off at 8pm. The match will be shown on Sky Sports.

Spurs' match against Southampton, postponed due to the Saints' FA Cup involvement, also now has a date and will be played on Wednesday April 21 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with a 6pm kick-off. The game will also be televised on Sky Sports.

I do not understand the objections. Surely the changes have been necessary because we are in the cup final or have I got it wrong? If we should go on and lift this trophy it would have been worth it.

The problem with that rescheduling of the Saints game is that Tottenham's full week to prepare for the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City has now been taken away.
Jose Mourinho's men will welcome Southampton just four days before the showpiece final at Wembley.

City play Villa the same night we play Southampton so it's fair enough.

Unfortunately the result is more important to us, and so we'll probably play more players that will play both Wednesday and Sunday than City will.

However, on a more positive note, due to their Champions League games City have 6 games in 22 days before the Final and we have 4 games in 21 days.

So, yeah we can't be too aggrieved.

I've got to admit that I first thought it was a bit shit giving us a fixture 4 days before our final. But then I just looked at City's upcoming fixtures & we've got literally fuck all to be complaining about.

Our fixtures prior the the final, are:

Apr 4th - Newcastle (A) - K/O 14.05
Apr 11th - Man Utd (H) - K/O 16.30
Apr 16th - Everton (A) - K/O 20.00
Apr 21st - Southampton (H) - K/O 18.00

Man City fixtures prior to the final, are:

Apr 3rd - Leicester (A) - K/O 17.30
Apr 6th - Dortmund (H) K/O 20.00
Apr 10th - Leeds (H) - K/O 12.30
Apr 14th - Dortmund (A) K/O 20.00
Apr 17th - Chelsea, FA Semi. K/O 17.30
Apr 21st - Villa (A) - K/O 20.15.

So people may want to think twice before voicing their objections.

Shock, people are moaning and don't even know why they're moaning.

If City progress in the CL they may also have a semi final first leg 27th/28th.

Oh wow, so many factors that possibly slow City down and help us win a trophy. This could be our year, I mean what could go wrong?
