Not much to take from that other than a manager that is not going to throw his young talent in the deep end. I can respect that especially since this is a public interview. I bet behind the scenes he is a bit more direct with the players while still being more of a teacher than a drill sergeant

Yes this is a standard answer that we would expect he certainly isn't going to throw him under a bus which is good man management.

Poch likes to give the players plenty of opportunity to play through a bad patch. The exception seems to be the wing backs where we have very decent rotation options. The big problem at the moment is that we have Alli and Eriksen both struggling at the same time.

The first thing Alli needs to do, IMO, is to stay on his feet instead of continually trying to buy cheap free kicks. All the Refs are wise to it now.

Thought he played really well in a deeper position alongside Winks against Dortmund.

Although since then he’s been pretty bad. His dip in form unfortunately comes at exactly the same time as Eriksen’s.
